did you lower the front or raise the back? I have a 383 stroker motor in my 84 trans am with 700r4 built tranny with replaced 3.73 gears but I wanna have a more aggressive look to mine besides killing other cars lol

@thunderup86 I raised the rear with air shocks. I lowered the front by cutting 1 coil off of the coil spring.

I had 4.56 gears welded spiders=spool/locker. TH350 all performance.

Do you videos posted? I wanted to do a 383 stroker.

@thunderup86 you could try biger tires in the back (big - little allways worked for me) n if not enough buy 1inch droped spings for the front , the side pise sound crazy thought mine was loud!!!

It might look good. You can try using photoshop to add in on in the computer to see how it will look. I have a chevy 350 borded out and I don't know how much HP maybe 350 and up somewhere.

you prolly have about 400 if its a 350 with some work done to it. i have an 86 iroc with a crate 350 it makes about 400 hp. n btw your car sounds incredible did you do the pipes yourself?

@8thman420 a stock 350 creates about 300 horsepower unless you got a better performance package it was 375 horses. The type of gas used, the cam lift and duration, compression ratio, the intake and exhaust runner sizes, the length of the stroke and over all displacement of the engine can have varying effects on horsepower.

Sounds like my Fifth, I have an 86 with hooker heads, true duals that flow thru thrush turbos and it exits in front of the rear wheels on both sides =). It sounds mean, but here in Iowa they only care that you have a full exhaust including. Loudness isnt a huge issue...

why is that not street legal? in colorado we dont have emission, exhaust or noise laws so all exhaust including open headers are legal. ill never live anyth\\where else. they also dont do any emission testing here at all.

Sounds pretty good. You might want to put in a different cam, to give it a lopey idle. You could probably get some kind of classic plate or collectible or antique or something, so that you can drive it legally.

Thanks It has a high cam in it so it does have a lopey idle so i had to put the idle at 1500 to 2000 rpms and here in the city we have to have it emissions test with a cat check and sound test so i wont pass unless i change the system. But thanks for your sugestion
