The Sages of Israel say that the reason Abraham sent away Hagar & Ishmael because he saw that Ishmael was trying to kill Isaac.
THAT has been true ever since the jewish people have returned to their land 200 years ago. We've always wanted Peace, unfortunately, the "Ishmaelites" amongst the Arabs have not learned that this is God's country & He gave it to whom He wanted....the son of Abraham, the one who followed in the path of peace.
