@kegtimothy123 Thanks. When I bottled it this week, it was the first time I could really smell the beer compared with all of the kits I've done so I'm dying to try it.... have to keep telling myself... not too soon....LOL thanks for watching
I have a wort chiller and very seldom use it i run all grain and when it is done i run it into a bucket and seal it with an airlock let it set for 24 hours then transfer it to another bucket after it settles out no straining and no chiller
I love these partial kits. Perfect compromise between all extract and all grain! You did a much better job handling that hot break than I often do. I think partials may be harder to control than all grain due to the condensed proteins. I've found that a foam control product like Fermcap works wonders for this (check your local homebrew store). Great video!
One heck of a hot break. You fought that one off. Yeah, bigger pot for sure and lower heat. Live and learn eh? Still a day brewing vs.... vs.... well, just about anything except a football game and a homebrew. Best to combine the two for maximum pleasure :>
dame thats a nice kit if i do say so myself

It's amazing how fast a boil over can happen. That rose like two inches in two seconds. It seems I'm always taking notes when that happens to me. :)

@Dactat I use a spray bottle to mist the foam and it knocks it down fairly well.
