Gfitz: one is the 7th Day Adventist in California which only what is listed in old Testament, and are vegans. But you are correct, all of the other long lifers eat small amounts of animal protein: this was from the Blue Zone study--National Geographic and universities.
Historically, the longest lived societies in the world do eat some meat even though the bulk of their diet is vegan. For example, the Hunzas are one of the longest lived societies/civilizations in history but they do eat some meat, for example goat. Can anyone point to a civilization past and/or present that are completely vegan with longevity? How about a civilization past and/or present that are completely RAW FOODIST with longevity? Any answers on this?...
@gfitz1999 hello, well no actually. None whatsoever. All the thriving tribes, folks natives etc eat high amount of animal fats and meat, fruits an berries in season where they naturally grow etc.it differs when it comes to where they live. The Samees eat a lot of fish from lakes, deer and herbs, inuits a lot of blubber, salmon and mostly berries. Kulvinskas himself made a statemnet that those people were made of steel etc. On youtube...
How come she didn't mention having Fibromyalgia? I read an article where Graff said it was her fibromyalgia that led her to eating raw foods. Never anything about her brother.
The new website is www.sproutrawfood.org and unfortunatly the Sprout Cafe was closed. We cater, make wholesale food for health food stores, and teach classes and seminars.

Great segment! I've never made a pumpkin pie but this one looked very easy so I'm inspired enough to get the ingredients and blend away.
