My process is more along the lines of: procrastinate for eight months, write fifty pages in one night, casting, schedule a read through, write the second half while the cast reads the first half, be surprised at how little editing the second half needs.

My friends and I wrote a script in high school, it ended up being very soap-opera-esque with characters falling off cliffs and surviving and the like. It's still not finished, but most of the others wrote their characters out of it. It's gathering dust in my attic and I don't know what to do with it :(
