when i was a kid i wayed my self down with trash bags of bricks and jumped in my swimming pool. i felt nothing like i was not born, then when i was revived it was like being born again, i thank nde only happen when the doctor gives you drugs when you are out hence floating and the light feeling. sleeping pills overdose makes you feel like you are on fire. same with other drugs and alcohol.i did not feel a thing when i jumped only felt fire as the water breached my lungs.

I thought I went through a similar experience as Linda Laine's even though I have been a Christian over 30 years. I never wanted to go to hell, but I had somehow found myself 'there.' I thought my life had ended and I was awaiting judgment. When I finally realized I was not there and that my life was not over, I was on my road to recovery. I had never taken halucinogenics or become intoxicated but reluctantly I am now required to take antipsychotics, which I had stopped after 10 years.

I thought I went through a similar experience as Linda Laine's even though I have been a Christian over 30 years. I never wanted to go to hell, but I had somehow found myself 'there.' I thought my life had ended and I was awaiting judgment. When I finally realized I was not there and that my life was not over, I was on my road to recovery. I had never taken halucinogenics or become intoxicated but reluctantly I am now required to take antipsychotics, which I had stopped after 10 years.

A thought that's not your thought! That's how it felt. I was seven or maybe a little younger and Jesus told me to speak. It was just a thought...but it wasn't mine. I asked "What?" in my head and heard it again. I tried to speak..and nothing came out. I was having one of my first asthma attacks and I didn't even know I was having it and I wouldn't have known if it weren't for God. I am so happy to hear that you found God. He is Great, and I know that he will do good things for you.

Man you let your thoughts really get the best of you!! I never let my mind entertain negative thoughts so much as it can put you into a deep depression I would think! Did you ever see a psychiatrist? Some medications today are very capable of helping people! Anyway, the best of luck to you! :-)

I didn't used to believe in God. Not at all. I am 25, and recently had a revelation, so be a dick to me for it. I don't care. God loves me and He loves you and will forgive anyone, but the sooner you stop being an asshole to people for their beliefs, the better, Just leave us alone if you don't like it.

My mom died when I was 3, I was raped and beaten, my dad is an alcoholic and I don't know him. My younger brother and sister who are twins were kidnapped and never found.... Oh yes, I cover my ears and eyes you assumptive pompous jerk.

@mythicalhell are you sure that was God who came to you? Just as God is fighting for your soul, so to is Satan. I also had a voice come to me while I was sleeping, the voice said "I am the Lord Jesus". I believe that it was a message sent to me to reaffirm that Jesus is real & that He truly is the Son of God. If there is no hell than there would have been no need for Jesus to come & die for us.
