There are some severe damages to the paint at the very front where the metal lid scraped it off after being opened and closed over the years. There are also scrapes on the keys, but to the casual viewer the machine is nearly perfect!
It's in beautiful condition. There is nothing like picking up a vintage item almost 'as new' as if time has stood still. A great find for you, and a great video...
You should learn to touchtype - there is nothing more relaxing. You get into a beautiful rythme.
