yea sounds good. I went with the borla stingers myself. It sounds even better with the bbk longtubes and bbk x pipe w/ high flow cats. i gotta loud tuned scream at wot and sounds good cruisin on the highway. good setup man.

go w/ x-pipe its better. better performance than the H-pipe and it sounds much better from the interior than the H-pipe tho. although the Hpipe sounds a bit deeper, the x still sounds amazing, and cant complain about more HP

Does the ofrroad X pipe has different sound than offroad H pipe? Like is the sound dramatically diferent between H and X? I ordered Pypes offroad H pipe for my 05 GT but they sent me offroad X instead. Don't know what to do now. I saw some vids of offroad H and liked it. But your car sound simmilar. Very cool sound. Are they worth it or should I ship them back and have shipped offroad H?

@bigblackhemi To tell you the truth, the H pipe will give you a slightly lower tone, but not that much. The X pipe will increase your horsepower a lot more than the H will. But you must understand with both, is that it will be raspy as hell for the first 1,000 miles to bare that in mind when you first put it on. I chose the X because it has very similar tone, but also gives you an exra hp gain.

@fnawesomewes Thanks for quick response. That's what I needed to hear. You changed my mind. Right now I think I will stick with the X since you say the sound is very simmilar. I've never heard any of these two in person and it is hard to judge just from hearing all vids. Thanks.

@bigblackhemi Yeah dude for sure. What kind of axle back are you getting? I was super bummed at my set up at first.. but then I took it on a road trip and it sounded great. Still has rasp when it's cold.. but at wide open throttle it sounds like a mean dragster.. can't go wrong.

@fnawesomewes I have same set up as you. Borla stingers. Everyone including me loves it. I have the car for about 2 years and want to do something with it. My 05GT is satin silver. Last weekend I installed GT500 wing and Silverhorse racing honeycomb rear panel. Both look really cool on the car. Don't know why I didn't switch the rear spoiler sooner. It looks so much better now. I am going to install my X pipe next week so I hope I will like it as much as you do.

well... how new is your set up? That plays a huge role in how it sounsd... mine was raspy but after a road trip it got better... but the borla's are a lot more expensive than flows. So that could be it. I hate the sound the flows give. All of them i've heard are raspy

Well, I'm not sure.. I bought everything all at once.. but I'm sure it does.. b/c its basically straight pipes.. the drone is nuts.. the exhaust is sooo loud.. but i got used to it

yes... the stock h drones like crazy... and adding a aftermarket mid pipe takes care of the drone... i had my brola stingers for a little bit then got the bassani catted x with the delete tubes... gonna try on the delete tubes but it definitely helps.

I just switched my stingers out for a set of bassani race packs. Car sounds way better now and doesnt have the raspyness the stingers did. I'll post up videos later

Do you have an off road x pipe? I like the way these sound now.. they got much better with some miles put on them. So its really not that big of an issue.. the only thing is sometimes it is just wayyyy to loud.

I do, but for a very short time.. It was annoying but i've gotten over it. And its actually toned down quite a bit after about a thousand miles or so.

I know what you mean but when you down shift it sounds like poop when it pops. Oh well I like the overall sound. My next set up will be JBA long tubes, catted H pipe and borla stingers

Yeah it kinda does, but really not bad.. For the price i don't think there's a better set up. That set up you're talking about will probably sound better but also cost a bit more :)
