I am currently directing the show and the music is not like the movie. The note is not above a B flat. Take a look at the score. She is fantastic.

i think that she is entitled to have a creative liscense with the song, maybe since ur younger its easier to hit the note, she kicks butt, and obviously the audience liked it cause they clapped

I totally empathize with the troy in this production. I recently played troy another show. I went to extensive voice lessons to expand my range for two months to get ready and it was a challenge, but I got it done, but I had the time. props to this guy... constant f#'s are not the easist thing if you aren't a full blown tenor... good job guys!
