Dern! if these guys went any slower, they would stop...highly unacceptable in my district (I am a retired district Chief)...I do understand taking safety measures in snowy conditions, but these guys are lagging like they're going to a funeral.
I love the chick in the background asking what what truck to take. Yall should have told her she was taking the mop back into the kitchen where she belongs
@SonofthePhantom Those tones are used to alert the vol firefighters .. you eventually learn which tones and series of tones indicate which department is being called out, but the last hi/lo tones only go off on the radio/pagers for that department that is getting the call...
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Do yall have a specific time to get rolling after the tones go off? Your guys looked a bit lazy. Not that im trying to talk bad but i mean, if our tones go out you better be in the trucks before the tones end and on your way when you hear the adress once. Thats how strict it is no matter what call it is.
Yea no doubt you guys move faster than some fully staffed paid departments (sadly enough) When i was talking about mine i was talking about a paid and volunteer department fully staffed 24/7. I didnt know, or didnt read, that you guys were volunteer
just a joke. just in reference to how the firefighters weren't jumping into the truck. in our station the fire police are usually hauling ass to get into our utility vehicle and our special service vehicle
the only reason i can come up wit is the turret on the front, brush fires or car fires, we can pull up nd hit it wit water off the front in an instant
first out on any crashes, and i think landing zones. second due on brush fires. we also have a 1969 international brush truck that id frist out on brush fires.
NICE rigs

Fire Police are pretty much Traffic Cops (direct traffic and block of roads) around fire scenes. Their powers vary from state to state.
