  • NICE rigs

  • Dern! if these guys went any slower, they would stop...highly unacceptable in my district (I am a retired district Chief)...I do understand taking safety measures in snowy conditions, but these guys are lagging like they're going to a funeral.

  • Jesus, when the Minitor went off, I thought it was mine on the dining room table!

  • Why do you run code 3 for traffic control? Is that you depts SOG?

  • Nice truck!

  • Needs a Q.

  • nice vid keep them coming

  • Smart siren :p!!!!

  • Dude... pull your mouth away from the microphone. Jesus Christ.

  • what state are you in

  • I love the chick in the background asking what what truck to take. Yall should have told her she was taking the mop back into the kitchen where she belongs

  • Whta's with all the beeping?

  • @SonofthePhantom Those tones are used to alert the vol firefighters .. you eventually learn which tones and series of tones indicate which department is being called out, but the last hi/lo tones only go off on the radio/pagers for that department that is getting the call...

  • They usually make the police department do traffic control here.

  • @ogreny what is a fast team?

  • @RatchetEms Firefighter Assist and Search Team. Same thing as RIT, (Rapid Intervention Team.

  • code 3 excalibur light bar?

  • lol there is like no room in the cab.its all good tho.nice vid.nice truck too.

  • nice truck

  • no we don't

  • @80fireman sounds like us...

  • you were told to put the camera down werent you..

  • no, she told me to put salt down on the driveway, but i couldn't cuz the truck was leaving so i waited til they left

  • Ah... Salt

  • why didn't you blow the station siren?

  • whenever u get a sufficient crew is when you leave the station, no specofoc time we have but all in all our response times are pretty fast

  • Yea no doubt you guys move faster than some fully staffed paid departments (sadly enough) When i was talking about mine i was talking about a paid and volunteer department fully staffed 24/7. I didnt know, or didnt read, that you guys were volunteer

  • we're all volunteer

  • wheres this at

  • Ford Cliff PA

  • i live in lancaster PA the lowest tip of PA by maryland

  • now u have to ware vest on the roads they just made that law

  • yup, now we have those vests on both trucks

  • wtf...full turnout gear for traffic control???

  • umm yes, u need to be seen, plus it was pretty cold out

  • i could tell with cold part but if you have to be seen thats what vests are for

  • this was before we bought the vests

  • its snowing!! its cold!!! fire gear warm!!!!

  • Thats what I use for shoveling snow!

  • hhmmm, never thought of that!! i'm goin to see if my dad has some old fire gear around that fits me.

  • nice!

  • Whats the difference between a mini pumper and a attack?

  • this is a mini-pumper. we just call it our attack

  • okay thanks

  • Man that thing is little

  • i don't care wat year it is, the truck still runs great

  • those wear made in the 80's and they will out pump new firetrucvks all the time

  • it's only a '90

  • no, why do u think that?

  • What is "Fire Police"?

  • fire personnel who direct traffic at calls

  • i hate Armstrong female dispachter. lol. Clarion OES is the best. (some what) haha

  • there was a crash which was cancelled so everybody was already dressed, and they heard 90 chief requesting them so they went enroute

  • Any the fire police immediately "stolled" to the scene

  • wat u mean?

  • just a joke. just in reference to how the firefighters weren't jumping into the truck. in our station the fire police are usually hauling ass to get into our utility vehicle and our special service vehicle

  • Can only Fire Police go on traffic control calls? Or can juniors go as well?

  • whoever shows up goes

  • Nice.

Your Dept only has 2 rigs? Or are you made up of other companys. departments that cover one town/ city?

  • we respond along with 2 other companies, we're an engine company, 160 is a truck company, and 90 is a rescue company. but both of em have engines to

  • Oh I got ya.

  • that truck is BAD ASS!!!

  • Whats that weird tone before the pager tone?

  • which pager tone?

  • The weird one at 11 sec to 15 sec

  • that was the 1st set of tones for bethel twp station 270, a few companies have 3 sets of tones but most have either 1 or 2 sets

  • What make and year is that Fire Engine?

  • 1990 Ford C-series engine

  • But why is it called the attack?

  • the only reason i can come up wit is the turret on the front, brush fires or car fires, we can pull up nd hit it wit water off the front in an instant

  • hopefully sometime in the near future

  • My dpt has two C-Series. A Ford C-8000, and a Ford C-750.

  • Fire Police are pretty much Traffic Cops (direct traffic and block of roads) around fire scenes. Their powers vary from state to state.

  • is that siren a fs smart siren?

  • i think so

  • not very smart to have a white fire truck in a place were it snows...

  • sweet little station, engine and attack!

  • nice truck and weather (to me) =)

  • does the "Attack Unit" act as a fire police unit too?

  • we have the usual flares and cones on it its not classified as one but if we have to act as fire police, we can

  • no its a fairly small hall, so if someone has their pager on of when the siren starts, we kinda know theres a call lol

  • Whats an "Attack" unit?

  • mini pumper/brush truck. it's 1st out on anything except structure fires

  • whos pager is going off

  • maybe i shouldve watched the whole video it was 270

  • one of our members also belongs to 270

  • haha does tiny have any trouble fitting into that thing?

  • hey 80 u still shoveling snow!!! haha. yea i kno our mini pumper comes in real handy.

  • is that a mini pumper

  • sure is

  • thats awsome i think my dept. is thinking about buting one.

  • they come in handy

  • i bet

  • no she wanted me to put salt on the sidewalks and ramp after they left

  • lady shoveling snow

  • That is a nice truck. We are looking at getting something just like it

  • Thats a realy nice rig! whats it mainly used for?

  • first out on any crashes, and i think landing zones. second due on brush fires. we also have a 1969 international brush truck that id frist out on brush fires.

  • Where is this from, Im from Maine and it was snowing like crazy here today..

  • Ford Cliff, Pennsylvania

  • thought so same storm.

  • i think so
