Yes, Irina! Kabaeva was absolutely not "clean" or "defined," at least by the time she was up against Irina. Irina's routines were much more exciting while still having beautiful artistry. As to the "preoccupied face," have you seen Kabaeva at the Olympics? Except her's wasn't as much a "preoccupied face" as much as a "if there is a God I will catch this" face. No one can beat Irina Tchachina!!

Irina's "preoccupied face" (as you said it) can be easily explained. She did not have any right to make mistakes. As to Alina she had always that bonus to make mistakes and to be easily forgiven by the judges. Though indeed Kabaeva was very very special before that bloody controversial disqualification. Unfortunately after 2001 she failed to make progress while Irina's performances were growing more mature and technically brilliant.

she has an excellent technique... but alina kabaeva dances much cleaner than irina... when she dances she tries to make each movement ideal, while irina tries to prove she can do a lot of exercises but doing them not so defined. even in this dance she has such mistakes ,kabaeva avoided, tiny but they brake the hole image of the dance.And what's more, she has such a preocupated face,you can see on it that what she's doing is extremly hard, while alina seems to be doing all with such easyness !!

excuse me Ayen93 but I find really offensive to write in your description that she often makes mistakes..she is one of the Russian gymnasts to do the fewest number of mistakes.. kabaeva did more and worse for example..I'm not saying Irina is perfect or better than anyone else but she has so perfect lines and is SO clean that is simply amazing to see..and not deserves such a description for her routines. ://

Dear Aupirit, this sentence is written in description of the video,because I think she is the best gymnast ever, but she won only few european and world championship, because usually won Alina, who is not so good. I want to say in that sentence she is the best, but Alina was winning championships and og because of Irina's mistakes.
