theres no rule that says a smaller boards for street or is better for street its just what the skater perfers to ride an 8.0 helps to land big tricks cuz u can stomp or catch the board easier in mid air cuz u have a wider board to land on obvi. like i can flick a tre flip on a 7.5 really clean but land sloppy but on a 8.0 the tre flip doesnt look as smooth cuz u cant get the same flick but my landing is much better and consistant thats y personally i skate a 7.75 perfect size to me.
