@onlycash well, i have been playing for over 40 years and i have played with bustamante too. that is a pretty basic one rail kick. even if you didnt hit it dead on chances are it would billiard in off the other ball. i could make it better than 50% of the time

Actually, Django intentionally played the cueball off 2 rails (End rail, side rail) to make sure the cueball would not get stuck with a bad shot on the 5.
I learned this way of kicking years ago because when you play a kick shot using the extra rail, it helps to give a slightly bigger target to aim for and makes playing shape on the next ball a little easier too, when aiming to make a ball that's close to a rail :)
@NAMTRIP - the spotter (guy) is marking the area of the ball if its too close to the player who will take a shot so they will notice if the ball will move nor be touch but no bad shot at all if you accidentally move the ball in philippine money game, they will just going to put it back where the mark is.
