  • What was the first part of the music? I know the second part was the "Montagues and Capulets", but what was the lyrical beginning?

  • there are no men competing now with such passion as he does

  • j'adore la musique!!!

  • LOVE this team so much and LOVE this FD... but my fave FD from them was the Carmina Burana routine... in fact they were fabulous in most of their top years.

  • Thanks for uploading this free skate! I love all of their programs, but my favorite ones are Ahla Leila and Man in the Iron Mask.

  • one of my favorite programs in figure skating history

  • my second favourite routine after Liberta!

Such a romantic, sensitive but also a very powerful routine , it expresses perfectly the sad love between Romeo and Juliet!

How much I would to see Marina&Gwendal back in the competitions, just even one time!

  • If I remember correctly, she was an ice dancer in search of a partner for a long time -- wrote letters to prospective partners and finally found Gwendal. They were such a great match who would have guessed they hadn't always been together? Which is better, this one or "Man in the Iron Mask"? Both unforgettable.

  • He has the most beautifully-shaped legs...so does she, but I notice his more, probably because of the dark pants. I love every thing they did, but especially this dance.

  • I love this couple

    fantastic expression

    great programme

  • they interpreted romeo and juliet perfectly, it seems they was romeo and juliet for real not only on ice!

  • I love that Dick Button wouldn't play into the controversy. He absolutely loved this dance.

  • Dick has his moments. I loved this one !

  • WOW!

  • This program was absolutely brilliant and I love A & P. Greatest Ice Dancers at least since Torville & Dean.

  • love the reverse lifts!!

  • Amazing.

  • one of the great icedancers of all times...

  • The only ice dancers I love equally are Klimova and Ponomorenko.

    This is breathtaking...

  • That was awesome...too bad the audience was pretty much dead. What, did everyone take a sedative with their beer before coming out to watch?

  • I think its called totally and speechlessly in AWE! LOL - blown away and spellbound. Love them XXX

  • Magnifique!!! Amazing!!!

  • quel programme fantastique!!! c sublime!!

  • it's sooo emotional and beautiful

  • I loved this program, one of the best of all time. And music is beautiful.

  • for me, they're the G&G of ice dance. speed, technique, difficulty, expression, flow, grace, carriage, line, beauty, they have it all!!! if only they were an off-ice couple too...

  • the rate of the dance is incredible

  • i still find this after all those years the best free dance iv'e ever seen, i'm spellbound, really mesmorising....

  • A Masterpiece! This performance really soared. I was lucky enough to see this one in person in Minneapolis in 1998, and it is one of my favorite memories. Thanks so much for posting this. :)

  • I love that Dick Button loved this and defended this FD. I agreed with everything he said.

  • Beautiful!!!

  • The commentator was absolutely right - paradise...

  • One of the best ice dancing routines ever!
