So anything that mankind does is attributed to god...even mircacles performed by man. Religious people thank God for the actions of man because he is ultimately the one in control. Yes, we should thank humans for their works, but it's awfully pompous and self-centered to think that God had no part in even our best of works...and that thinking tends to bite one in the ass.

And GOD isn't standing in those Countries telling those people who can't even feed themselves to have sex and have 5-10 babies a piece. That's the problem with this world. You assumed since the doctor couldn't explain it, then he'd, perhaps, look for Christianity to explain what happened. Why would you think if something unexplainable was to happen, it would push people to accept religion? Perhaps, this drives him further to science rather than blind faith to find the answer.

What do the actions of men have to do with religion? People do bad things without using religion as a tool. Mao, Stalin, Mussolini and Genghis Khan were all atheists and they massacred more people than you could ever imagine.
There isn't an invisible magic panda flying over my house, because there is no evidence to suggest this.
Zeus probably did exist and was a human that people took as a deity, just as the Christians did with Jesus.

Firstly I'm not a christian, but the Christians believe in God, and the bible as being written as an inspiration of the word of God, thus anything in the bible be it a talking snake or a talking donkey can only be by disproving the authenticity of the book that Christians believe in. If the book is authentic and then all it's content is true.

I think a waste of time is studying for the best years of your life only to work for another 30 or so and then get thrown in a nursing home whilst knowing that when you die it is all over.
