  • for all you people debating who came first...B52's or Revillos...they were out the same time...however...! Revillos were previously known as ReZillos for at least a year before Cindy even thought about popping on her wig!

  • @jimaldo64

two years according to wikipedia ;-)

  • I have this single and have played it on my radio show for Halloween.

  • I can't find this anywhere! What album is off of? I'd really like to have it in my collection?

  • ziggy i don't think the b52s ripped off the revillos but i like the revillos much more. The b52 were early too but the b52s are just a bit too sappy or something. But who knows maybe your right

  • SOUNDS LIKE THE B52s RIPPED OFF THE Revillos.

  • @ziggy6848 dont think so the b52`s were formed before the revillos were

  • @gasattack99 no they weren't :-)

  • @jimaldo64 yes they were, B52s were formed in 1976 .. Revillos formed 1979. The Rezillos were formed in 1976 not Revillos....

  • @gasattack99 rezillos/revillos what's the difference? it's still the same band, they just changed their name

  • @ziggy6848 Like someone else said, the B-52's were first, plus this is a cover of a Lord Sutch tune.

  • @STSlocal724

B-52's were NOT first mate, B52's were a couple of years later

  • @jimaldo64 - Um, okay, but I'm pretty sure they both formed in '76, but as the Revillos weren't called the Revillos until '78/'79, I don't see how they could've been ripped off by the B-52s, especially if you're using a cover song they recorded in '81 as the basis for your argument...

  • @STSlocal724 i wasn't saying the revillos/rezillos were ripped off by the B52's...other people were saying it was the other way around. Revillos were recording albums before B52's

  • @jimaldo64 - Ah, okay. SOrry. Had you confused with ziggy.

  • @STSlocal724 - Either way, I don't think they sound anything alike.

  • @STSlocal724

no mate, i play bass...ziggy plays guitar ;-)

  • @ziggy6848

    other way round pal

  • screaming lord sutch great track as well from joe meek on oriel label

  • @JizumChrust

    Hi, I don't think we've met... ;-)

  • Gulp LOL

  • Great cover!

  • Boris Pickett & The Crypt Kickers spring to mind...

  • this is the best version

  • So they recorded a song about my wife. Neat!

  • :[ The Screaming Lord Sutch and The Savages's is so much better

  • clearly

  • No it isn't. SLS is great but cak production.

  • Does anyone have a video / recording of Bongo Brain to place on You Tube?

  • Good call.

  • I have the 7" single amr. :)

  • niccccccccccceeeee

  • awesome !

  • Heh, niiice. First heard the song in Wristcutters: A Love Story, and /had/ to check it out. :D

  • same here - great film!

  • ditto!<3

  • that movies amazing:)

  • @MaddyAtTheDisco love that movie

  • @MaddyAtTheDisco That's EXACTLY what I've been looking for. I can't seem to find the version that's playing when Mikhl is in the car shooting up and OD'd. The first song has the female lyrics which I love, but then,....not so much. I loved Wristcutters: A Love Story. One of the best movies ever.

  • @MaddyAtTheDisco

first heard this song in a sweaty little pub somewhere near dundee in 1978...and Fay Fife never looked better ;-)

  • nice.
