During the 2008 election (and still today) no one seems to have questioned Obama's background. Not a lot of people seemed to be aware of many aspects of his background either. This is what is known as a "red herring" (I'll admit that spell check has crippled my spelling!) But my spelling is not the issue here. Stop & think: where does ALL spending & all legislation originate? CONGRESS. Who were in charge of Congress during Bush's last 2 years?: DEMOCRATS.
Bush's first 6 years, economic growth, annually, 3%. Stock market, high of around 14,000. Unemployment, historically low.
It took Democrats a full year to turn it all around. It will take about that much time for Dem Congress & President to do much more.
At least the Dems failed to lose the war in Iraq, though they tried VERY hard.

My husband & I tried, pre-election, to inform some mesmerized "formerly voted Republican, but..." friends. But against the clean articulate black man who was (swoon) head of the Harvard Law Review AND (double-swoon) a Community Organizer, we couldn't make a dent.
Now we're all forced to subsidize ACORN (thugs for the Dem party), Unions take precedence over secured bondholders and all "stimulus" projects must employ union labor at union pay. Etc. etc.
