@DylanIsAnonymous no its not, it wears down the tires just as much. they arent as long as the stupid poser skid, but more weight is being pushed down on the back wheel so more tire is worn off in a shorter amount of time.

@jdawg4334 even though more weight is pushed down the skids are shorter and slow someone down faster exponentialy compared to the poser skids. i bought michilen city tires when i first started riding and actually did the poser skids and they only lasted about 4 months, since then i have the same tires and they have lasted me 8 months plus i ride longer distances and faster than before. you have the science to back you up, i have the experience with riding it (even though you probably ride lol)

Skate and bike helmets work the same, by deforming. Skate helmets deform at lower impact, protecting your head from "bumps and bruises." A bike helmet deforms at higher impacts that mean you already have a concussion, but might escape fatal brain damage. Which helmet is best in a particular situation is a judgment call.

A helmet that breaks immediately doesn't protect anything.
