When I was living in Southern Europe where it is hot weather during 6 months per year (Mediterrenean climate, 40 degree Celsius), I was sunburnt, now that I'm living in Belgium for 15 years, I look pale, because my body adapted to the weather. In Belgium we only have 3 weeks per year warm weather. My body is not used to producing pigments anymore, because there is not enough sun, that's why I look pale now.
