  • I bet Sanjay Dutt gets to learn from this song how to act....

  • The best duets of Lata are undoubtedly have been sung with Hemant Kumar.

Togather they have sung some of the most molodious songs which keeps

lingering in the memory for decades Ravi Sinha

  • @mariam9380 - That song, "O Ameeron Ke Parameshwar - Asha Bhosle" is from the film "Paigham" [1959].

  • Really what could be a better eco friendly family life than this.I wish i could life a life like them rather than the quality of life we are living in today's urban india.

  • Nice comment, my friend.

By the way, have you seen what has happened to Meena Kumari at 1.07?

  • what happens at 1:07 appears to be an impulsive reaction to the tune by meena kumari and not under any direction from the director

  • When this channel was suspended few months back, I created another channel named, Mahagedara2.

When I posted the same video there, our friend Professor Vipan [chamogaa] written the following, with regard to the same "incident".

".............BTW, did you notice at 1:07 how our beloved Meena lost her grip for a split second and was on the verge of falling off the high-speed bike but quickly regained control?Nobody used helmets, knee guards ,etc., then. This could have been a tragedy."!

  • "pivithuru manahara preme shaantah wei"

Lata and Dharmadasa sang the same tune for

    "Sooraya" (sinhala)

even the scene was the same - but without the child.

I think Alfred Edirimanne and Rohini Jayakody were the actor/actress in that scene.

  • Thank you pooji for the nice comment.

I am not sure about the local actors names but the Sinhala words are absolutely correct!

  • I was looking for this song for a long time. Brought back old memories. Thanks for sharing.
