Used to live 60 miles north of y'all, near Hammond/Ponchatoula. :) Was no snow when I was there. Watching it on the news, I was smiling - what a beautiful sight! Snow, in N'Awlins. An early Christmas gift!

LOL You can't tell? Texas! Have been here for 25 years. Born in Ohio, lived in Utah, Louisiana and now, Texas. Guess that makes me a Buckeye-Ute-Texa-Cajun. LOL

The year before Katrina hit, New Orleans got a significant snowfall on Christmas Day. That was part of a freak snowstorm that hit as far south as Brownsville, TX.
