  • I bet more than half of the people booing in the audience would have a change of heart/mind - if it was *they* and/or *their* family members who had been tortured, during a unlawful invasion of their country. (Of course, some Americans can't put themselves in other people's shoes and understand where the demonstrators/protesters are coming from. How sad, how very sad!)

  • This is the wrong strategy. It should be clear by now. Wait for the Q&A section and nail them. Disruption plays into their hands, as we see here, where the asshole "apologises." Another one is the "thank goodness we live in a democracy blablabla..." (Condi's got it down) and then the sheep applaud and you're silenced anyway. You wrongly assume these people have some shame. They don't.

  • @foxchool I agree the protestors look like idiots and the supporters like mean old people... It is obvious that both the crowd and the protestors went about this the wrong way. Angry hippies protest better than these buffoons. And those old people, I mean the cane was awesome fuck the dichotomy embedded in our regime; just some good old fashion political violence. It's good for the balls. Still though, out of hand those cranky rich people deserve to be beaten senseless for their insolence.

  • Another typical day in shady meadows, just before the distribution of medication.

  • I love how standing against torture makes you a Marxist now.

  • i wonder if it's just a coincidence most of his supports are old over-weight stupid-looking rednecks? or maybe it's just natural...

    bunch of cattle.

  • @TekkGnostic Students, too! Shameful! Perry's body counts raises a cheer and the pope claims, that he and his followers are the light of the world and the rest the dark. Why do people show up to these gigs if NOT to protest? So you'll see from my initial comment, I respect the work of codepink. I especially like them for their hope that the rest of the audience joins in one day. Turkey should join the BRICS. Dark side for me! Oh, and so we don't confuse things: Condi is a war criminal.

  • this isnt activism. this isnt exposing anything. this certainly isnt courageous.

  • Sheeples are healthy meals for the elites

  • fuck the us goverment. ALEX JONES for ever......

  • Canada :)

  • They're trying to tell the truth. Get 'em!

    Poor sheep.

  • Did somebody shout mint sauce at the audience?

  • LOL! The sheeps does not even know that they are sheep!

  • SHEEPS YELLING.... DAMN IM SO ANGRY!!!!!!

  • They even sound like sheep..

  • What a mass of ignorant blind sheeps

  • Ouch, baby, very ouch.

  • 'members of the tea-party'.. I am involved in a local tea-party and a fan of CODEPINK. Around 40% of Tea-partiers are anti-war..

  • Cassel: If the president deems that he's got to torture somebody, including by crushing the testicles of the person's child, there is no law that can stop him?

    Yoo: No treaty...

Cassel: Also no law by Congress -- that is what you wrote in the August 2002 memo...

Yoo: I think it depends on why the President thinks he needs to do that.

  • nutty left back from the 19th century

  • This is awesome! Wait ago CODEPINK, World Can't Wait, and all other organizations involved in this! Keep resisting!

  • These 'activists' were just plain rude. I was there and no one assaulted anyone. We all paid $10 to hear Mr Yoo speak and these people could not be bothered to wait for the question and answer session to express their views. They disrupted the event by shouting at the speaker every 5 minutes. Every time someone disrupted the speech they were escorted out of the hall, no more and no less. Why can't we hear him speak? Liberals - take a look at yourselves!

  • @Campelini Why should people be polite to a war criminal?

  • @Campelini A woman was pulled back into her seat by an ignorant man with a cane. These events need to be disrupted because they are attempting to corrupt your mind into contradictory thinking which permits evil across the world. If you don't see a problem with Bush sending 13,000 US soldiers to their graves over a lie of Weapons of Mass Destruction then you need to hang yourself or give me your address so I can rid the world of your maniacal thinking. Fucking stupid coward.

  • Retarded audience.

  • courageous, need more and more

  • the people who are defending yoo r ignorant. there is no way any moral person could defend yoo . most americans r dumb as mud, but those that defend yoo r even dumber. john yoo destroyed the values of this country. he made this country stand for torture. he was the architect of all those pretty pictures at abu garaib that america can be so proud of. america has become a toilet & the people should be flushed, just for shear stupidity, as well as stench. yoo sd b tortured.

    go 2 torturingdemocracy

  • Regardless of the feelings of the audience, their violence towards those speaking out is illegal.

  • I hope the people who punched and assaulted the activists are charged with battery.

  • The sheeple were mooing...weird LOL
