Jesus! Even in the late 1970's, this woman was a total punk goddess. I mean, Not JUST stylistically innovative music, but fashion and hair, also. When you see an artist like Siouxsie [and there honestly aren't many], you have to respect the means by which they introduced the world to punk and glam rock music, as with David Bowie's early years and Iggy Pop's as well.

Somehow, the term "icon" just doesn't even BEGIN to explain thier genius in the avant garde conceptuality of thier craft.
