  • Hello, is it not Grozer hungarian bow of middle ages? Please correct me if I am not right.

  • it is. :-)

  • @rattyarchery Where can I get a similar bow to the one you shoot in this video? I can't seem to find any heavy draw traditional bows past 110lbs.

  • You are referring to Mythology.Which is basically a fairytale.

  • Absolutely untrue. The Etruscans were not the Trojans. And the Etruscans did not enslave the Latins. They took land from the Umbrians who were already In the Umbrian region of Italy. The Latins eventually came to the area where the Etruscans and Umbrians occupied had wars with them and eventually defeated them .

  • julius caesar claimed trojan descent

as did most nobel roman families

  • Romans not desended from Trojans. They were the indeginous Latin Peoples of Italy that eventually battles the Etrucans and defeated them.

  • 120# bow only shoots to 180 yards? hmm for some reason I figured it'd go far

  • see the angle the arrow makes with the ground? that's only 30degrees or so...

an 120# english warbow will shoot the standart livery arrow a little over 220yards, guess it's not much diferent with the horsebows.

    Nick

  • Didn't know that about the Romans. What sources are you using that state this?

  • Wow. A 120-pdr, and you're not showing any strain. You've been doing this for a while, and it shows. Your draw's very fluid; nice!

  • i just got one of those helmets without the plume

  • the roman (western) bow was really crappy

  • the hamian archers were great archers with amazing bows

  • Well yea, thats why the Romans used Composite Recurve Bow from the near east... The Romans had Composite Recurve Bows in the late BCs and in the ADS... They also had Bodkin tips...
