My huisband almost died the other day and i cant thank God enough for keeping him safe. Yes, it's true. I went to New Life for 4 years before moving back to Belgium in 2007. We've had a lot of trouble as a church but I believe God is strengthening everyone even more. He is the one that never changes and we can always trust Him.

This church has taken such a toll from the enemy. I hope and pray for this church for healing. Great CD! I have this CD, and listen to it all the time, especially in the car when I'm going to and from work. It soothes my nerves before I get there, and helps me wind down afterwards. I got my copy from New Life Church one Sunday I visited there. Awesome!
I moved back to Colorado Springs the beginning of Summer after being away for six years. One of my daughters attended there, and invited my other daughter and her family and myself to be her guest one Sunday. I really enjoyed my visit. As a first time visitor, I was given the CD titled "Our Savior Lives". Hiding Place is the seventh song on the CD. It gets put on replay over and over and over. So soothing...so true. Just touches me so much when I hear it. Thanks for inviting me again.

Then maybe one of you can help me - what was the song they did during adoration?? I can't find it ANYWHERE (cries) this *was* my 4th year...can't wait for next year. They need to bring the hand movements back with the theme songs though...

Do you remember the lyrics to the song? I remember one of the song was Hosanna by Hillsong United and another song was Amazed by Desperation Band, but those are the only two songs I remember from the top of my head.

When in worship we raised ours hands in reverence to God. It's like we surrender to God's annointing and allows will to take place. No ritual;-)

why do people always raise their hands when they're singing slow songs in church????

For me, when I sing in church I am praising God and when I raise my arms I am inviting God to be closer to me. When I first became a Christian I thought it was kind of creepy but the closer I get to God the more I want to raise my arms and be closer to Him. Hope that helps.

One of the Hebrew words for worship ,YADAH, means to throw out hands; to worship with extended hands, Ps. 7:1, 9:1, 28:7, 33:2, 42:5, 44:8, 63:4, 100:4, 134:2, 141:2. like a child reaching for a parent.

Well, raising hands is a biblical way of worship. I do it when I want to show God my respect and adoration. Think of it as an act of lifting our God above ourselves and inviting Him to fellowship with us freely.

whenever i listen to this song, it relieves me from the stress of daily life and reassure me that there is smoeone who will always be here for me. I just love the song, its so beautifully sung and so is the music. God bless you for such a lovely song

I have only been going to New Life for a couple of weeks but my friend had been going there for years. He was there when the shooting happened and he was there when Ted Haggard was senior pastor. But after only going there for a few weeks I realized that we have put most of it behind us but, I would really like to thank you for caring about our church.

Yes, it's true. I went to New Life for 4 years before moving back to Belgium in 2007. We've had a lot of trouble as a church but I believe God is strengthening everyone even more. He is the one that never changes and we can always trust Him.

Isnt this the church with the Ted Hazzard as sn pastor?Well USED to after that incident. And isnt this church with the shooting of the Youth for the Missions? This church has taken such a toll from the enemy. I hope and pray for this church for healing. I hope this church remembers that the enemy doesnt strike outside, he strikes his heaviest weapons on Gods biggest people.

Ted Haggard was the senior pastor of new Life i believe. He was also the president of the national evangelicas asspciation. Last year he was found having a sexual affair with a male stripper and using drugs such as crank and meth.

Great CD! I have this CD, and listen to it all the time, especially in the car when I'm going to and from work. It soothes my nerves before I get there, and helps me wind down afterwards. I got my copy from New Life Church one Sunday I visited there. Awesome!

I moved back to Colorado Springs the beginning of Summer after being away for six years. One of my daughters attended there, and invited my other daughter and her family and myself to be her guest one Sunday. I really enjoyed my visit. As a first time visitor, I was given the CD titled "Our Savior Lives". Hiding Place is the seventh song on the CD. It gets put on replay over and over and over. So soothing...so true. Just touches me so much when I hear it. Thanks for inviting me again.
