  • it action look like Native America sign lang. long time ago.

  • @apache4541 I suppose it's possible. As I understand, she never went to school and her deaf sisters made their own language. There's a large community of deaf in this isolated area. 100 years ago there would have been very little contact with outsiders.

  • Wow, 100. My grandfather was 104 when he passed away, but he was bed ridden.

  • Coo puerto rico sign langauge and she is very blessing for the years!

  • @Happyone64 its really more like homesign she had 2 deaf sisters, they made up their own language.

  • It makes sense to have only one sign for spoon, fork as both are visually clear to the need when asked.

Awsome watching her sign! The sign for close (cerca) can guess in context really fun to see! And compare to what we now sign full of ASL.

Also how she is tired, and clearly saying ok finish, car, bike.. (que mas qierres.. come, pare, y come te lo!)

  • @AyalaIna Yes, it was a fun experience. She is very sweet! I had to be careful. We took photos of her and her family and printed the photographs for her. She really liked my photo and said she would sleep with it under her pillow.
