Back in the early 60's I would occasionally play this at St. Michael's in Milwaukee on the old 3 manual, 40 some rank tubular-pneumatic Kimball Pipe Organ. I wouldn't do the real "jazzy" parts, but the melodies are so beautiful and lie well to hymn-like arrangement. This is a wonderful arrangement by the London. Brings back lots of memories. Thank You!!!
@sitp2 This track, like many other Classic Rock tracks, was conducted and arranged by * Andrew Pryce Jackman * . Sadly, he passed away, from a heart attack, on 16 August 2003. Other tracks include We Don't Need Another Hero, Bohemian Rhapsody, Paint It Black, Sailing. The whole LSO / Classic Rock idea was conceived and instigated by Andrew. MacArhur Park first appeared on the 5th album, entitled * Rock Symphonies * ,
I wish they'd stop using a drum set for these. It sounds so out of place with a symphony orchestra.

Why was this a bad song again?? Even the original??

@ThatGuyfromBrazil It was hated for the vocals and the lyrics, however the instrumentals were praised highly.

@PiratesoftheNorth78 Yeah, vocals were kinda odd, but it's not so bad.

@ThatGuyfromBrazil I didn't mind the vocals too much the lyrics are kinda dumb though, I much prefer this version.
