  • Snare at chest height?? Yikes..

  • Converge and Thursday? And I missed it? :(

  • ....Its all in the wrists

  • I was at that show!

What I love about Tucker is that he sound tests his own set. I've seen Thursday more then ten times, and every show I've been to Tucker has done the sound test before the band goes on. I've never seen a headlining act's drummer do that.

  • what? you get free starbucks if you have the logo tattooed on you? haha im calling for an tattoo appointement right now!

  • I love how everyone is complaining about the set...uh..how about you let the guy play how HE likes to?

  • He looks like a monkey when he plays drums at the start O_O

  • Yeah, he's not sitting all that low, his stuff is just really big, and he's a smaller dude.

  • he seems to be a very nice guy!

  • its not that he sits too low its that he has a huge bass drum, huge snare, and his cymbals are up really high! lol

  • "No pre-game shows?" haha

  • doesnt matter how low he sits

    he got signed

    its his style

    :p

  • Tucker is badass. The combination of those cymbals sound amazing live

  • that playign on the hihat with traditional grip wasnt very good.

  • that "rock neck" hes talkin about is from him sitting hunched over on his kit

  • that looks painful!

  • whats the intro song???

  • @TheJackass347 "Friends in the Armed Forces" (by Thursday, of course)

  • hahaha nice

  • that kit looks so uncomfotable

  • @pnutskater96

That kit looks awesome definitely my type of set-up and it is uncomfortable if you're not used to flat toms or spread out cymbals, it's about reach and power. I know I've been playing this type of set-up 7 years it did take some time in the beginning but, once you get over that you can get extraordinary sounds from the kit, and less is definitely more. Not to sound snobby but those over the top kits with non-flat toms or cymbals kill me sometimes.

  • @MrJustone311 its nt the flat tms and spread out cymbals that looks uncomfortable its mainly how low he sits and how hih most of his cymbals and drums are

  • he is sitting way too low.

  • @YOWHATTHEHELLUP71 Opinion.

  • @920connor Negative. Highs and lows are relative to the individual drummer.

  • @YOWHATTHEHELLUP71 if thats what works for him then thats whats for him (personally i do the same thing but i dont have my kit as high up)

  • @YOWHATTHEHELLUP71 I was thinking the same thing, but it obviously works for Tucker. I play pretty high, with my snare between my legs, so ya know, we all have different styles.

  • @YOWHATTHEHELLUP71 that's how dave grohl and john bonham sat, apparently you get way more volume and power from sitting low

  • @YOWHATTHEHELLUP71 To each their own I suppose, but yeah I'm surprised he hasn't fucked up his wrist sitting like that.
