Hast du zufällig auch schonmal GTA IV drauf gezockt ? Würde nämlich gern wissen, wie's auf diesem Notebook läuft. Hab zwar schon nach Videos auf YouTube gesucht, jedoch nur Videos mit anderen G1 oder mit Fraps aufgenommenen (was die wahre Performanece beeinträchtigt) gefunden. Würde mich sehr über eine Antwort freuen.

these days laptops can be used for gaming just as well as desktops. they cost more because all the parts have to be smaller and they are less easy to upgrade, but they are portable and are awesome.

and there are probably tons of laptops that can beat your pc because i doubt that you have a 6000 dollar pc

all G1's are 15" and all G2's are 17" screen! G1's are total black and love fingerprints but G2's are way more powerful than G1's. Trust me, strangers will come and take a look when you open one of these baby's especially in class! All Mac fanboys will bowdown!

G2's are not way more powerful than the g1. They have the exact same specs with the exception of a 17" screen on the g2. Actually, your performance might be less on the g2 since the gpu will probably struggle to churn out playable framerates on its lcd's higher native resolution

I stand corrected. But no, It won't strugle as it can run Bio Shock very nicely. It might strugle a bit on frames on the G2S A1 since it has a WUXGA screen & the G2S A4 has a WXGA screen as it runs Bio nicely on the A4! Love Asus, they always kick ass! Oh and plus the G2S's run the new Santa Rosa cpu ships! I don't know about the G1S's?

8600M GT is a 512 NOT 256 check the specifications in the nvidia website... but still a 7950go gtx is much better

It is 256mb!! (i got the laptop so i can check in on the laptop itself) BUT it has a total of 1024mb (768 mb shared)! So in the future: just place a gig extra in the laptop (then the 8600M GT has more ram for himself)
