I have 2011 MR and have the same issue. I haven't been able to launch mine using the launch control. Car barely reaches 2000 rpm and it stalls. I also get the message transmission overheating.
evo stock... i dont think soo... new evo MR was estimated at 14.0 on tests.... so much harder to get low times in actual drag track with reaction time... now way that evo MR was stock....
who told you 14 on the MR? people see a bunch of estimated times from different people and pick the slowest... i dont think so, this car at 13.7 sounds about right. seen a 13.5 on a stock mr too. look at his trap speed 101.. if he was modified he would start getting to the 105+ range
Its an MR, its much harder to launch than the GSR many MR owners can't launch them good enough to get a good 60ft but this guy still got a good E/T and MPH.
because this particular one we see here is equipped with the dual clutch tranny.... and honestly it looks like it's stock.... hence the lose the modified First gen RX-7 with drag slicks
Has no clutch pedal LOL, and when you try getting the rev up to 5k it takes a while and barely makes it to 2k and wants to bog down and Launch control sometimes tries to re-engage ASC and stalls the car , basically you have to be about 75% perfect on the MR each time you launch or it won't work. Different modes also give different results you have to be in S-sport mode.
the first gen rx7 one so you suck ****head....everyone knows rearwheel drive is better for drag racing and also the rx7 is about 1000 lbs lighter than the evo which is right around 3200

dang the evo is one crappy driver. the 4wd system should've made the evo a lot quicker of the line.

Your right about that. 2k and wants to bog down and Launch control sometimes tries to re-engage ASC and stalls the car.
