umm, Ryan's part is in the original version. it's not in this one. she meant she likes to sing Ryan's part pretending that she's singing with Brendon. I can easily find Ryans part in this song. I think it's only on the chorus and the part where he says "just leave me" the second time in the second and third verses. it took me awhile but if you listen to the original version and maybe sing Ryan's part A LOT you will easily be able to find it.

How are they lyrical geniuses? I love Panic but this IS bad. A five year old can come up with more meaningful lyrics! "Just like they Do, if they just knew" They've put no effort into making this meaningful and added a whole bunch of lyrics that don't add to the song and are just rhyming filler.I was really really excited for this album and it was a huge disappointment, there's nothing catchy, no clever lyrics. They really dumbed this down a lot, it's for little kiddies and not for music fans

It's kind of clever, there's nothing like "appealing only cause they're just so, unappealing, any practiced catholic girl, cross themselves upon entering." or "watch your mouth because your speech is slurred enough that you just might swallow your tongue" Pas De Cheval is one of the few redeeming songs on the album. But even then you still don't get that rush when listening to this album, the instrumentation is average and the lyrics, (while sometimes nice)are generally sub-par.

haha, your comment reminds me of the Say Anything song "It's A Metaphor, Fool" which actually has the same problem as this song, it focuses too much on rhyming and less on substance. "Love you like no other, we told your mother" and not that I think about it. Say Anything had a mediocre second album too. I know it wasn't technically their second, but the others aren't available to the general public, so I don't count those.
