even if you play on virtual pro you can use the whole team. you click on L3 or R3 before the game starts (in Be a Pro menu). it says it on the bottom of the screen. I personally like virtual pro because in pro manager and manager mode you have to make decisions and worry about selling and buying players. i just want to play really!

No matter which mode you play; Player, manager og player manager(or something) you can decide to controll your whole team, or just 1 player. :) At the atributes, you set your starting ones and then progress during the game.

@fernando180303 Player manager is when you're an individual player and the manager simultaneously (you only have control of your one player), while player is when you just play as one player. PS manager mode is when you play it as you normally would (you control the whole team and you can transfer and all that fun stuff) I recommend just manager, or player manager

Every time I start a management career from scratch for Manchester United, I sell Javier Hernandez for some mega bucks (especially if my first expectation from the Board is to upgrade my Stadium Manager (costs over US$ 84 Million) ). He reaches the peak only after season 1, with Wellbeck progressing along nicely and Rooney having a long and steady growth curve, I can afford to sit tight for a bit.

FRO. Instead of "create a player" you create a VP (Virtual Pro) there you need to complete accomplishments to make your player obtain more skills and have a higher overall. And for transfers it's better to buy the player not loan. Another thing is, you should get a decent team so you have more money to buy players. I just started MY own Player coach career on FIFA 12, but on PS2. I've played this mode since 09, so it is not as deep as next-gen systems. As I said before, I started as Be A Pro, but I cheesed it up and maxed out my guy so he can gain higher Fame rating quickly. I will try and make a new video about it next month after my exams.
@blinkFRO As you progress, you may need to loan players out. A common example is getting rid of your 3rd string goalkeeper so he can get game time and reps. If NFL could do that, it would definitely be like loaning every QB behind Peyton Manning to a different team to get some reps, ESPECIALLY if they have the potential to become a starter later.

Football system in America is just fucked up. I've try to manage an America club in FM 2011 but realize that transfer and loan system almost doesn't exist. They have restriction in salary so their clubs can't have too many big names in their team such as Man City. And you can't loan or transfer youngsters and bring them to football academy to train them but have to pick them up from trial day, etc. In the end America is falling behind at least 10 years in football.

You should choose manager. Player manager is when you are à Guy That is manager and à footballplayer. Manager is when you are à manager and plays as the full team. I did the same misstake on FIFA 11. But on player manager you CAN play as the full team. But you have one more player and you have to changes some settings. So you should choose just "manager" :)

As a player/manager your starting stats should had been high because had you played from a player, your stat would had boosted to a point where you are in your mid-to-late thirties.

board difficulty is how much money you start the season with and how strict the board will be if you lose too many games e.g being sacked, now if you want to play a game mode where you control only the whole squad select manager mode not player manager, if you have no funds available to buy players you can loan them, but no point trying to loan great players, not happening, go on transfers, status, loan listed, each player has an energy bar that depletes during matches so keep an eye out
I have a question.. how can i earn transfer budget? i am using a shitty team trying to build a stronger team with it... but now i ran out of transfer money , so i can't renew my player's contract. HOW CAN I EARN TRANSFER BUDGET ?
@5238330 as far as i know the board has to give you more money to sign players etc. If you win matches and are up in the tables or a tournament the board will give you access to more money
first if you want to progress you should pick virtual pro but you should have made the created player the best it could possibly go so the team can progress

Football system in America is just fucked up. I've try to manage an America club in FM 2011 but realize that transfer and loan system almost doesn't exist. They have restriction in salary so their clubs can't have too many big names in their team such as Man City. And you can't loan or transfer youngsters and bring them to football academy to train them but have to pick them up from trial day, etc. In the end America is falling behind at least 10 years in football.

You should choose manager. Player manager is when you are à Guy That is manager and à footballplayer. Manager is when you are à manager and plays as the full team. I did the same misstake on FIFA 11. But on player manager you CAN play as the full team. But you have one more player and you have to changes some settings. So you should choose just "manager" :)

@blinkFRO Player/manager is like what Bill Russell was heading into the twilight of his career. A player/coach if you may. You can play in a team, and as a central forward, you are like a box player. As a player/manager your starting stats should had been high because had you played from a player, your stat would had boosted to a point where you are in your mid-to-late thirties.

@alexpearsonhullcity Haha, you're funny. The first time I played fifa 06', I didn't know anything about it, but, after a few days I actually managed to win 90% of my games. Now I've played all the fifa's from 06 to Fifa 12, and I love the game. You can't expect everyone to know 100% of a game they've never played before. It's like you buying singstar and you sound like crap because you can't make the high pitched tunes. Everything has to start somewhere. Have a think about it. :) Ciao.

board difficulty is how much money you start the season with and how strict the board will be if you lose too many games e.g being sacked, now if you want to play a game mode where you control only the whole squad select manager mode not player manager, if you have no funds available to buy players you can loan them, but no point trying to loan great players, not happening, go on transfers, status, loan listed, each player has an energy bar that depletes during matches so keep an eye out

@5238330 as far as i know the board has to give you more money to sign players etc. If you win matches and are up in the tables or a tournament the board will give you access to more money
