  • THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN PETA EATS MEAT

  • All you people are yelling about this clip, like they are going to put him down. They ARE trying. They ARE attempting to help. They just needed to figure out the dogs reactions. And thats what they did!

  • ....What if he just hated the stick?

  • This is the standard tempermant testing for shelters. I think it should be changed. There are not too many dogs who would pass it. A good shelter waits a couple days before they bother to do this because it is a stressful thing for a dog, especially when they are in a new environment.

  • Oh good grief. Resource-guarding is not that hard to fix. I rescued two undernourished strays that did it, and I was able to condition both to allow me to take food or anything from them. You sure as heck do not begin by trying to remove high value resources. You give the dog a low value item like a carrot, and then let him "trade up" for something like a piece of hot dog. Then you return the low value item to the dog. Gradually up the stakes. I can now take food right out their mouths.

  • just feed the dog with no bowl.. the bowl is the reason the dog gets crazy

  • of course the dog is going to be aggressive when you go for the food bowl, he was starved. he wants to protect his food from others b/c he is scared and isn't sure when he will get to eat again. its only natural.

  • Morons the dog is fine! Just Don't Touch His Food!

  • Johnny O is wanted by Nassau Police for years of back child support and call them and see if they come without a camera on to film it.

  • man these guys r wats right wit dis country. god bless them

  • Go to Complaints Board Rescue Ink, looks like Rob is going to jail again.

  • New York News day 11/22/09 they were busted for stealing money again!

  • another pussy hiding behind your PC

  • I would be mad too if people were poking at my face while I'm eating, or anytime for that matter.

  • Well more dirt comes out everyday on the boys. They are in trouble for stealing money and double crossing people Rob is bad news.

  • all these actors are scared faggots. why would the dog have any manners if it came from such a "bad enviroment". And there they are ready to give up, " it"ll be such a shame" learn a thing or two about training!

  • @DICKGOEZINA

Rescue Ink is the real deal! NOT actors.

Who do you think you are to call these guys faggots?

They are out changing things and doing hard work for animals.

  • ass clown actors!!!!! lmao @QueenTeriquable

  • How are they good people by stealing $250,000 in donations, selling the dog food Ellen gave them so Rob can get a new Benz, selling over $100, 000 in T-SHIRTs, dog collars and so on. Mock rescues in front of the press and stage themselfs to be great. They are con artist laughing all the way to the bank.

  • @TheReconMission How do you, know their stealing money for themselves? Do you have proof?

  • Inside eric is a woman screeming to get out right ,Erica???/

    what flotsom

  • Where did this pineapple comes from? Where is the real rescue ink members the ones before Nat Geo recasted the show and stole dog food from Ellen.

  • Actors is right! Fake Fake fake

  • A real dog trainer does not work like this, they should fine actors that know something about dogs.

  • damn..thats a nice dog...

  • Why dosent Eric the "tough guy" adopt the dog?

  • grumpy female the expression is ; nipped in tha BUD

  • it can be fixed and it takes and patience. Our malamute/husky who weighs 120 lbs named demon had a food aggression and we nipped in the butt. Then it came back cause we got a blind husky BrookLynn. Working with him and almost got it nipped in the butt again. Hooray! It takes alot of work and dedication 24/7.

  • There is no doubt Krissie will take the time & love to teach this guy manners. This big boy will have another chance of a good life. She has done it many times before & will do it many times after. She has saved countless dogs from those who have mistreated, neglected and abandoned them. No dog is too tough for her! Go to the webpage, there's a loooooong list of "Happy Endings" from the many dogs she has rehabilitated and are finally enjoying life! Many thanks to Krissie, Tommy & the Rescue...

  • all that dog needs is a single person to bond with. these tests dont work. its like saying if you just got some food or a toy/game(the ball) you wouldnt be pissed if some stranger just walked up and took it away.

  • I will adopt nike! he such a good dog

  • its such a shame how people treat animals that cant defend for themselves , beautiful dog

  • So here is the deal....

Nike is doing GREAT!!! Krissie has made excellent progress and can now take food and toys away. We are thrilled to be able to help this great dog.

  • aggression under your control is fine. who wants their dog to randomly bite someone, maiming their face? you get hit with a lawsuit, the dog gets taken away and put to sleep, you get a maimed kid on your conscience. that's no fun for anyone.

  • Too much drama....Just get the Dog Whisperer

  • Obey or change not die!

  • Dog Whisper needs to show up

  • I grew up with a dog like this (much worse, actually) and it's very manageable if you know how. Our dog wasn't abused, just completely neurotic. She was lot smaller than that dog, though.

  • Comment removed

  • i want to kill the mother fucker that did that to this awesome dog

  • I'm glad they took that dog

  • If only Nike was more like his brother Reebok, maybe then he could chill in a neon green jumpsuit without all these aggression tests.

  • I'm Soooooo glad they took him!!!!!! Poop pup

  • So the dog is afraid of a stick? Wow I didn't know dogs were too dumb to see and smell the difference between a rubber glove on a stick and a real human arm...

  • It is a rubber hand not a glove on a stick. And It is not the fact that it is a rubber hand or human hand its how he will react to something trying to interfere with him eating or playing with something of his such as a ball.

  • In case some people didn't know I'm pro dog rehabilitation, it's just that dogs see long stick-like objects as a stick, that's how it is. It's also a known fact that alot of eating dogs will only let the alpha or someone else higher in rank than him touch their good or interfere wilst eating. I know I can touch my dog or take away his bowl while eating but I'm not going to poke him with an artificial arm. Oh well glad they took the dog, didn't look like a lost case to me either.

  • What ever happened to: take the bog out behind the barn and put a bullet between their eyes? To me thats much more humane than letting them suffer through long illnesses, physical or mental.

Remember "Olde Yeller" yeah I know the dog had rabies,, but same is better for blind, old, nerotic.

  • I know I'm going to get a lot of crap for this, but why don't we do that with humans too? If life is too painful, and it won't get better, just give them peace.

  • You might be supprised to find out that that happens quite offten. The term used in hospitals is "No heroic Measures" I have heard these words twice in my life and was in the position to say yes. A human body can be kept biologicly alive praticaly forever.

I think a person should have the right to choose. Kevorkian was right in my opeion.

  • That happens. Some people in hospitals request this, "Pull the plug"

  • Just so you know. A dog WILL react to a dummy hand the same way they would yours or mine. I have been working as a temperment evauator for 8 years and have seen just about every level of food addression and resource guarding.

  • As a dog trainer I would have to disaggree with you on that. It's the way you try to do it. I have had cases in which they tried a dummy hand and failed and I tried with my hand and succeeded, I must say I've been bitten twice by doing. Nothing too bad luckyly enough.

  • @kajzone

    YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate those dummy hands. It's not fair to use them.

  • eric reminds me of tim sylvia haha

  • I'd be angry too if they were touching me while eating.

  • awesome that they are determined enough to still take him :') I have a HUge dog in my house (people think he's mixed with wolf..) and he used to growl and snap if you came near him when he was eating his snack. But one day my bf did that (not knowing) but when he snapped, my bf showed him who was boss without using Any physical abuse and since that day, he doesnt even grow at him Or me anymore. it only took One person and One incident (But he's Really really good with animals. .. Obviously)

  • he needs to go on a farm far away from urban life to live outside in a large caged area

  • its fucking stupid that food should even be an issue. keep yourself and your kids away from an eating dog. it should be common sense to not fuck with it maybe?

  • i always pet my dog while he eats he dont mind

  • aw what kind of dog is that?

  • aww cute dog!

  • AWE

this makes me so sad to think theres more dogs like this! :[ i love my puppy & can't imagine her being in such pain

  • i prefer taking the dog to dog whisperer not to that mean lady !

  • its common for people to want to pet their dog while eating... same with kids... they just don't know... and you can't play with him... he is way too possessive... and would take lots of training... also need a very educated and firm owner/handler to deal with him... he cannot be a "normal" pet... most people don't have time for that... but at least these people are willing to work with him and try to give him a future...

  • id bite that hand too

  • Thats a fucked up test, I know that dog wouldn't do that if I was with that dog ! doughboy

  • whats with the ads

  • get ad block plus... it will make them go poof!

  • Wtf...Of course, I would get pissed if I was eating breakfast/dinner/lunch and some random persons hand REACHES INTO TO and tries to take it. Dog's should be treated like humans, For humans are animals too, so we are related to the dogs in a way.

  • The dog is in unfamiliar territory surrounded by people, two of whom he doesn't know. He's being asked to "perform" tasks that he's probably never done before. Nike's not a bad dog; just scared and frustrated. I hope all goes well for him.

  • why the hell would you take a dogs food away anyway? thats so dumb. my dog does the same, and i wouldnt trade him for any other dog

  • Well it's good for you to be able to reach to the dogs mouth to be able to safely take away something their eating/chewing etc, for example if your dog was eating a bar of chocolate it got hold of, you'd want to be able to get that away from him ASAP. Or if you had kids and they put their hands by the dogs head petting him when he was eating or playing with a toy, you'd want that to be safe. That's why people care about

food & possession aggression :) hope that helps!

  • yea thats very true, im just saying cuz the 15 years ive had my dog, we never let him close 2 any chocolate. assuming other people would do the same, thats y i said wat i did b4. now i realize how other people are with there dog, and their situation could be different (kids and what not)

  • these people are great...

  • its very sad to see this, but what you don't see is the millions of other dogs -that would pass all of this tests w/ flying colors- that don't have a space in the shelter! whatever anyone says here- you wouldn't want this dog around your kids and family, most likely. spay and neuter your pets so that when this does happen to a dog then there are enough resources for rehabilitation etc.

  • my dog is like this. he's 1/4 Nike's size but twice as intense

  • if someone poked me with a stick i would get pissed to.

  • Exactly my thoughts when he speaks at 3:49.

That dog went through a lot. Even when humans go through a lot they're going to act differently. Whether it be protecting the things that have or other reasons.

  • i gave my dog an agressiontest the opther day and i videos it. it is my featured video on my profile. however i did it humanely because i love my doggy .

  • my dog would have attacked them for standing that close to him have wolf

  • That was stupid, poking a dog with a stick while he's eating of course he's gonna get pissed.

  • you're right and when he has a ball in his mouth hes just playing around with them. people are stupid.

  • I'd be upset if someone stole my food and valuables too...

  • hes playing, rotties are like that, more bark than bite, the food is a differnt issue though they got to work with him, I had my brothers Rottie in my 2 seat dodge dakota years ago and i was in the fast lane and I touched his tail stub, he didnt like it and spun and growled right in my face....I shit... i went to the break down lane and after he calmed down i tried to stuff him through the back window into the bed but he would not go lol

  • I like rotties. They are tough dogs. Very loyal too

  • this is retarded- any human who still had their pride would behave the same way as the dog if they were treated the same way- i mean really? you wouldn't get pissed if someone was putting their hand in your food?

  • I kind of get mad when people ask me to share, I do because I am conscious and know that I can share with out still being hungry. But I say for the most part many Humans still have some a tendency to be agressive in some shapes and now that we dont need agression in modern day as most of us did thousands of years ago we can get along better and build a better community.

  • poor dog..

  • Comment removed

  • I think that hand on a stick is an invittation to bite. My dog would definitely go after that thing but not my real hand when shes eating. Also when I was a kid we had a dog from the spca that did the same thing as the rotty. She'd be all snarling and if you didn't back off she'd give a quick violent flurry of bites. It hurt but she never even broke the skin and besides that was a great dog.

  • Would you like somebody feeling your head when you are eating? o.o

  • lol

  • OMG this dog is acting like a dog THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

  • that poor old boy

  • He lucky somebody took his ass in. Ole bad dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • whos gunna touch a dog over and over again well its eating?

  • kids, babys or other animals in the house

  • little kids?

  • I often pet both my dogs when they eat. My oldest will walk away and leave it alone if I don't.

  • actually I'm sorry for the comment. i pet my dog too or he wont eat...:D

  • I'm not sure how effective the hand on a stick is. Dogs are going to know it isn't a real hand. I'd be surprised if they DIDN'T bite at it, thinking it's a toy.

  • You can easily tell a play bite from a real aggressive bite

  • ★★★★★

  • hmmm...I wonder why there would be restrictions placed on a YT video...that's very strange...

  • we have natgeo in our country

  • wtf

  • CANada cant see nothing restriction

  • what?
