This game was ADDICTING since it came out in the middle of the JORDAN era at a time where basketball in general was on fire, I used to love the Jordan-esque dunks.

I found this sweet spot on the c64 when I was a kid! Back then it was fun seeing how many points I could score. I wanted to see what would happen if I got to 1,000 points.

But what a pathetic game! 5 on 5, but 3 guys never follow over the half court line.

Tecmo NBA Basketball for NES is an all time classic! Michael Jordan actually on the game. Double Dribble was a favorite of mine too, and I didn't know of this glitch at the time!

My best score in this game as a kid was 535 using mostly the floating 3 point sweet spot on the bottom area where the 3 point line arcs noticeably, more so on the right side at :27 right between the white and green players when they stop.

the first time i tried that i kicked ass but i did it on the first level!! LOL....but when i tried it on the hardest level, which is level three to those who aren't familiar with this game, i lost by 11 points....but two days ago i played on the hard level again and this time i won 67-28 with five minutes in each quarter....and the damn game started to display glitches and shit, but i belive y'all when yall say yall scored 2 or 300 point because of the minutes yall played maybe 10-20 mins

Yep, that's the shot. The jump ball steal is classic too. The You can score about 200 doing that. It's tough, but I've done it. I think it's impossible to shut out the computer.

This brings back memories. I used to get over 200 on 5 minutes on the hardest level hitting half court 3 pointers over and over. The trick is to stand on the bottom wood board and have the ball shadow perfectly to the right of the half court line and jump to maximum height and then let go. I used to give people 100 point handicaps and still beat them.
