  • Got case today for my i7 2600k building and love it

  • @deathblade909 Nice!

I can't decide between this and the Corsair 500R.

Their both lovely cases...what should i do ?

  • 3:25 penis shaped reflection!!

  • think this will fit an msi r6970 lightning?

  • @VaipoGaming of course

  • do you think you should cover up the holes for intake fans on the side, considering that the standard airflow is negative, or would this result in overworking the front intake? Thanks

  • 690 ADVANCE, 912, or 922? i have a cooler CM hyper 212+ and a Nvidia gtx 550 ti, will it fit? what case you recommend me? PLEASE HELP!

  • @SicDivain I'm quite sure they will fit :)

  • @SicDivain I chose this case over both the 912 and 922 and I have the hyper 212+ and GTX 580. I absolutely recommend this case :)

  • Also for those wondering if you can install this graphic card or the other, i can tell you this case fits pretty much any graphic card out there in the market and 100% guaranteed you can fit any 500 gtx series in it, even without removing the extra hdd storage.

  • I have this case, and to awnser some of the questions i can tell you this.

The Air cooling of this case it's almost perfect if not actually perfect if you put your fans at the right air flow direction (side fans throwing air in along with the front one, while all the others push the air out), also it is completly tool free, and the cable management is pretty awesome, with a bit of patience and ofcourse a modular power source and you wont have any cable showing in your build.

  • who the fuck cares about a removeable motherboard tray??

  • did he say this is alluminum or not?

  • i got this one soon =]

  • Should i get this or the "Corsair Carbide 500R Midi Tower" ?

    Please answer.

  • @MrHalfdan as i se it its a matter of taste.

  • does this case have enough space for a non modular psu ????

  • @TheSaggyKid have one and yes it does, i did tuck all cables on the backside of the mobo tray as it has plenty of space there.

  • @TheSaggyKid

yes, but with non modular psu u still need to be a bit creative about the cable management.

  • Does this case have those optional fans included?

  • this casing has the flimsiest dust filter ive ever seen..its just a cutout of mesh secured into place by bending in some steel.

  • @MyAltruistic my biggest complain is that on the case, thoe im supriced it keeps out more dust then the foam styled dustfitlers, but personally i would like to se it have those fine fabric frame dustfilters one se on antec or fractual desgin.

  • how do i set the case fans on full speed ?

  • i have this case...

  • Your reviews are great! You helped me pick my case! Thanks!

  • Im planning my first pc build and i have some questions

Im buying a "AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition" CPU and i am planning on replacing the stock cooler with another CPU Cooler. Will a Corsair H60 fit into this case?

Will my XFX Radeon hd 6870 fit into this case?

  • @MrHalfdan The price of the H60 + a 955 is close or more than a i5 2500k, Just get the i5 instead. It blows everything AMD has out of the water. And you can overclock it really good on the stock cooler.

  • @Arsenalw80 how much can i overclock it do you think ? i have a corsair 650 watt power supply

  • @MrHalfdan

I'm Not sure about the XFX Radeon 6870 card, but others have gotten 11+ inch cards installed fine. You can also remove the bottom HD bracket to allow for longer cards or better ventilation. If you have more drives, then you can always get the following which is coolermaster branded for the 5.25 bays - Google: RA-692-KWN1

I have an AMD Phenom II X6 1100T with a Corsair H60 and it works wonderfully.

  • does any1 know how to mount the VGA holder? cuz it is fucking impossible, and the instuctions are terrible

  • @hadfboy1 from what ive researched you shouldnt have a problem unless you have a dell laptop as your OS is linked to your motherboard so ive torrented another version of windows so it should be fine

  • It's FANtastic!

  • If i build an entirely new PC can i remove my 2.5" WD laptop hard drive and put in this case will it adapt to the new hardware???

  • @IBLoodSHoT i have the same question!

  • PLEASE Gif this guy a removeble motherboard tray!!!!!

  • HAF 912 plus or this? cant decide =P this cost like 200 SEK more only but idk what to choose ^^

  • this case is the shit, I have it for half a year now, never had problems, It's very solid. I am using this with a intel i5 760 with a sctythe mugen rev b, I get 19*C idle. Also I have a hd6870 so Im sure a GTX580 will fit

  • I was looking at a picture of the back of this case on Fry's, and it looked like it allowed a choice between installing the PSU fan up (as it appeared in the image) or fan down... I have a cat and fan down tends to suck in alot of hair.

  • Will this fit a 360 Rad? (121x35x397mm)

  • I'm getting it :D

  • I can hear my pcs fan from 3ft away but i can't hear the cooling on that with headphones on quiet loud :/

  • can i fit a ASUS P8Z68-V PRO with a MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti 1GB PhysX? plz response

  • @uconoob It fits all standard motherboards (ATX) and graphics cards up to a foot in length. So yes.

  • Will it fit the MSI GTX580 Lighting edition????

  • But is the Motherboard tray removable?

  • Might sound silly but can you put an SSD into this case? OCZ Agility 3 SATA III 2.5" to be precise.

  • @ThePCGamerUK ys you can

  • I thumbed up for telling me the max gfx card size!

  • I assume this would easily fit my old Gainward GTX460 GS-GLH card?

Not feeling the need to upgrade from that for a while, but I do need to upgrade my motherboard, and my old computer case doesn't support ATX, only mini-atx.

So I'd need a new case, and I want to make sure everything will fit, since money is a big issue.

  • should i get this or should i get the nzxt phantom? i will be putting a msi gtx580 lightning in it.

  • this is the only case in it's size where you can fit 3 rad's on in... one single rad in the back. one dual at the bottom of you remove the cages and one dual at the top that's allot for a mid tower!

  • should i get this or haf 912

  • @Truber190 Sure get this one, or get an expansiver HAF

  • @Truber190 haf 912 is cheaper but it doesn't have the more exclusive look or the hot-swap bay on the top nor does it have a painted black interior. Both cases are quite good but it just depends what you fin usefull in these cases.

  • @Truber190 If you plan to add something like the corsair h50 or antec kuhler 620 or 920 for cpu cooling you might want the cm storm scout. Otherwise the haf 912.

  • @Truber190 The 690

  • @Truber190 haf 912

  • @Truber190 This.

  • @Truber190 i have had both case, and i think the 690 is more elegant

  • @Truber190 this

  • @Truber190 THIS ONE!!

  • @Truber190 this one

  • @Truber190 this! :D

  • I have one, and guys, if you want quality, style, good cable management and a lot of usefull features, I recommend this case.

  • So sad :( I was just about to buy this case until I saw this review (EXCELLENT review, btw...saved me $70 + RMA hassel/shipping + Headaches + Blood/sweat/tears)... I have 2 MSI R6970 LIghtnings in cfx and they are 310mm which comes out to 12.2"....Looking at the layout, removing the bottom drive bays would likely clear the lower GPU but I fear the upper would be in the way of the top, non-removable bays (and I'd need those anyway)...

  • Does this case fit corsair h100? Even if it does fit where would you put it?

  • goodbye shitty cit gaming case...

  • I need help guys. I'am searching for new case. I have two favourites right now and need help.

1st case is this CM case in this video

2nd case is this case #1171 - Thermaltake Armor A60 Case

I also want put in my PC this cooler for CPU (gelid solid tranquillo v2). And I would like to know which case is better for me. Thank you

  • Holy shit... I thought he was kidding when he said have a listen to the stock cooling rofl.

  • CoolerMaster isn't making good looking cases nowadays. Hell I don't even think my CoolerMaster Centurion 5 I had years ago looks good now. Lancool K62 on the other hand...

  • I have a question : Should i buy this case or the "CM Storm Sniper" case ? Help is appreciated :)

  • @MrLaith7 your like me! i am going to get rid of my corsair 600t and looking to grab this case or a storm sniper

  • @tawak11 Haha :D But the 600t is awesome ! But i personally like the 650D from corsair :D However "Storm Sniper" looks to have more cooling and features :)

  • @MrLaith7 yeah 600t is awesome but it is so big and fat and so plain but the quality from corsair is outstanding no question about that one.

  • this or HAF 922?

  • @arnarXx I had the same question, and I'm happy I choose this one. Better airflow, filters etc

  • @arnarXx

I got the HAF 922 and regret it. If you haven't placed the order yet, get this case. The HAF 922 has 20mm fan spacing, so most rads can't be mounted internally. In the 690, removing the bottom HDD cage allows for a thick (63mm XSPC RX-series) radiator to be installed with push/pull fans(tight fit though). You can also fit a thin 240 in the roof with 25mm fans. Plenty of cooling(air or water) for basically anything.

  • I just love this case

  • who actually needs to put a hdd on top of the computer, lol.

  • @megadoom20 its handy when you have a hdd you use for work and only need to temp install it to get data off

  • Have had this for a while now in use and it has been great! Considering of buying maybe 1-2 120mm extra fans, one intake from the side and one putting out from the top. Size of this is good for sli/crossfire builds.

  • does the sides have dustfilters?

  • Just ordered this case today. Excited for my new build :)

  • @Reinoutvk are you an idiot? :P

  • Hahahaha, black inside black outside, once u go black.....the rest is old news

  • With a saw, i can make any case fit 20 fans.

  • I finally decided on a case for next month and its this one! The Scout case just looks too small.

  • This is a my CASSSSE !

  • An excellent case, spacey (prefect for movement & component storage)

Absolutely highly recommended for people who love cooling.

  • 2:35 IMMA CHARGIN MAH LAZOR

  • I haven't really looked into this case, but for around £70, it looks fantastic, definitely considering this for my new build...

  • I just bought this case few days ago, great case, I highly recommend it.

  • @snorri500 can u plz measure the case and tell the maximum length of the gpu that can be installed?? exact measurement wud be appreciated.. :)

  • @MultiSanzo I opened the case and measured.Doubt you can fit that gtx 580 lightning, but 304mm is the max length of gpu.

  • @snorri500 lolx i managed to fit it inside the case :D its a really tight fit... barely a cm gap between the hdd bay and the edge of the gpu.. i had to tilt the card at an angle to get it inside though.. Hopin it doesnt take a toll on its temps :S Thnks for the help ^_^ cheers

  • got this case in white... lovin it. installed 3x 140mm Blue led fans and 2x 120mm blue led fans.

  • Hey, i was wondering, are there enough space for 2 "Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560Ti 1024mb" video cards ????

    Thanks :)

  • @NikolajFP yep

  • Love this case, 2 questions, does the side panels come with dust filters, and if fans are installed on the side panels, would it block a large Heat sink like a Noctua NH-D14 Dual.

  • Hello 3DGAMEMAN I am planning on building a new computer and I am looking to go all out with a budget in other words getting the most for my money (AMD FTW). Right now I have narrowed the choices of towers between 3 cases which are the cooler master 690 II advanced, Ultra U12-40670 black edition full tower, and a Zalman MS1000-HS2. I am planning on running a cross fire video card setup on a asus formula v motherboard. I am leaning towards the cooler master please could u recommend one?

  • Hello Guys,

Im looking for a case that I can use for the next years even with newer hardware, do you think that the CM 690 would do the job?

  • @TensonFlo Any case will do, form factors haven't changed much, and won't for a long time.

  • @drumstyx6464

    Great!

  • i wonder if this would fit x fired dual 6870's

  • Hi, I'm considering a new build, and am torn between this case and the Zalman Z9 Plus. They both look awesome, but think I'm swayed more by the stock cooling in the Z9+. What would you guys recommend?

  • @chrishainey Zalman

  • Hi, I'm considering a new build, and am torn between this case and the Zalman Z9 Plus. They both look awesome, but think I'm swayed more by the stock cooling in the Z9+. What would you guys recommend?

  • I wonder if it would fit a MSI GTX580 Lighting (305mm).

  • @leovfx I guess you won't have more than two hard drives, so you could remove those four bottom 3.5" HDD cages

  • @leovfx jus ordered both lightning 580 & cm692 advanced :D it'll be a close fit i guess.. hopin they'd turn out fine... ^_^

  • @leovfx got it in buddy :D

  • @MultiSanzo

    sweet! thx for the info.

  • @leovfx It does, I have one also modded it with a Acrtic Accelero Xtreme Plus II and that fits just fine as well. This case is quite good for the price

  • @leovfx it will fit if you remove hdd lower part

  • @leovfx u asked this two months ago so i think u alrdy bought the GTX580

    and did it fit?

i am gonna buy this case with similar GPU

  • @leovfx does it`?

    pls reply :)

  • @petersupermann it fits :)

  • @leovfx cool!

    thanks :)

  • @leovfx The case supports up to 529mm videocards, ah well, you need to remove the HDD cage then.

  • @leovfx

yes but you have to remove the 4 harddrive cages at the bottom

  • @leovfx the website suggests that 304mm is max. So yeahhh

  • @leovfx yes it does

  • @reevesy11 fo sho

  • 21 faggs have watched this video

  • @TheKiler20 1 of them is you!

  • I don't like the side panels =\

  • On the Archer case the motherboard case IS REMOVABLE:D pls do a review on that case....

  • Great review. Before watching this I was not sure about this case, but now - I have already ordered it! :)

  • First build for me. Which would be a better choice, the Scout or this case? Thanks, Rick

  • @barbershop22

690 II, its got better cooling and design

  • I know this is called a midi tower, but it has to be quite roomy with 10 fans. I will be able to fit fans and two graphics cards in there right? (SLi/Crossfire)

  • @assboy89

Yes, the only reason it's called "mid-tower" is because there are only 4 5.25" drive bays.

There's plenty of room for up to 4-way SLI/Xfire, though 12" AMD cards will be very snug.

  • I suppose it offers a lot of power, memory and beauty. However, Takes up a lot of space! :D

  • FANtastic, you get it?

  • No dust filters? :(

  • @spankydo12 Wha? Like all of the vents have dust filters.

  • Have a listen to the stock cooling "Huh? *Turns up Volume*..... THIS IS ONE.." HOLY SHIT RODNEY Don't scare me like that xD

  • This case DOES have a lot of FANtastic features.

  • I have seen alot of reviews but yours are the best. I havend seen anyone showing how the harddrive bay on the top works. Very good review and very good case.

  • Why force people to mount 3.5 and 5.25 in predetermined bays... The 590 is a better case than the 690.

  • this case is a beast

  • @userios yeah its a beast for the price im getting one for my pc build its ether this or the cm storm scout

  • Comment removed

  • At 2:15 can two 120mm fans be installed instead of the one 140mm fan? Also, what color are the power and HDD activity LEDs?

  • @billyfrmhill blue

  • I like to install fans in the top of the case..... oh wait hot air always goes up >.<

  • @NLterror6000 thats why they are exhaust fans -_-

  • great review bro, thanks.

  • One of the absolute best designed case on the market today

  • Bought this case today. Absolutely blew me away. 7 degrees cooler CPU temps STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX!

  • ur do good rewievs m8 :)

  • whats the difference between the 690PURE and this 1?

  • @akshaymohan24 youtube.com/watch?v=AubfqMN9XgE

  • Awesome review! Thank you.

  • probably one of the best priced cases for the features

    dust filters

    thumbs screws

    room for cable management

    water cooling friendly

can hold a shitload of fans (i thinkk 10 or 11)

    hotswap bay

    tool-less

    BLACK INTERIOR!!!

    and only 90 bucks

  • @Luger718A1 Exactly, everything you need for such a price, cooler master is the best :P

  • The only issue with this case might be the hole of the motherboard tray for the cooler retention plate which is not centred with the cooler retention plate on the motherboard. But even so, this is a 100% kickass product!

  • is there any programs that allows you to change the color of the LED lights?

  • @MyVlogger no, you would have to get a new 140mm fan with different coloured lights.

  • This is an amazing case. I almost bought the legendary antec 900but guess what, for whatever reason, its not a tool-less chassis so this one wins. WTG Coolermaster!

  • Jeeeej this case makes me happy!!!

  • hello 3dgamen... i need a quick answer about this case... can i put msi big bang fuzion in cooler master cm 690 ii? plz answer..

  • @cns96

Yes. This fits all ATX and mATX boards. 99% of current motherboards are ATX/mATX. The board you're asking about has "ATX" in its title. Of all the things to worry about fitting in a case, the mobo is not one.

  • Does anyone know if the left side optional fans have dust filters?

  • Hello, could anyone who tried this tell me if the dock will work with sata 2 hdd ?

(Im thinking of getting a sata 2 hdd for this use if it is possible.)

  • Awesome review, enough for me to get one!

  • Nice review, man. I'm so gonna get this case.
