NHurford ................ I agree with ohhwhatsherface New York is great , went to the Dakota when I was there and strawberry fields to pay my respects . Love America a great place to visit . Love the Beatles too the best ever .
If only they had been given the space & time to grow live ! Man they could play & play such a tight groove. It's the one thing i would of loved to have seen happen.
@DesertRat22225 come on man you can't HATE an entire country. yeah a lot of shit goes on here but there's still a lot of amazing stuff and good people
Paul: "You know people people, doesn't it drive you mad - all these girls screaming. I said no, but if you go to a football game, all these old men screaming "RUOUUG!" >:U
I probably will get thumbs down for this but I fell in love with the beatles after the rockband game but it only took one song and that was octupuss garden that made me relize that i would come to love this band
I'm 14 but I've listenend to them pretty much my whole life. I was brought up in a house where my Dad played records and had film footage. I think it got passed on to me by him because I have all of their Remastered albums and I can't get enough but I mean who could get enough, they're awsome and gorgeous. ;) ♥ xxx
same here. except neither of my parents are Beatles fans. I first fell in love with a lot of their songs through falling in love with Across the Universe. aided by a documentary I saw of them in my history of rock n roll class. I looked them up on youtube, read a couple biographies, memorized their songs and movies and here I am lol. a Beatlemaniac.
It's funny but you don't really have to be over 40 to know all this stuff. I'm 37 and I know all these songs 'cause my Mum gave me all her original Beatles 45's, so it was the beginning of my record collection, so this and all the early Motown stuff is where my music interest began.
The Beatles were great performers but their legend became as it is because of their working class roots and their charisma.
I love the girl at the 6:36 mark. In all the times I've watched this she is the only girl that isn't going bat shiz crazy. Must have been a Stones' fan :)
do they play any other songs in the anthology besides all my loving? i like that song as much as the next guy, but gee whiz, they had lots of other good ones too. this is like the 19th time ive heard it and im only halfway done.
Georges says that he didn't want to go back to the usa coz of the murder of Kennedy, because he realized then that there were a lot of mad people there. It's sad to know that John Lennon was actually killed by one of those mad person.. like, if only he had listen to George he wouldn't have died...
Thats true, but the Beatles may not have grown musically as they did had they went back to England. They were just so popular, and John was the greatest in my opinion. RIP John and George. I wish I could have been at one Beatles concert.

chapman was and still is a loose cannon, and a delusional lunatic. the USA had nothing to do with it. Chapman would have gone to engalnd to get Lennon if he had to.
You have to understand that John put himself out there in more controversial ways other than music. He became an icon in activism and politics for a time being and was in enough danger of being offed as it was. It just so happens that that bastard who doesn't deserve to have his name remembered shot him without a legitimate cause behind it.
I'm glad to see someone who, like myself, refuses to recognize Lennon's murderer by mentioning the asshole's name, and thereby giving him the recognition he wants for his crime. Thanks for your awareness, it truly honors John. Let his scumbag killer die in worthless anonymity!
@dididoum you're actually wrong on that because John Lennons murderer had no relationship to USA whatsoever. He came all from Hawaii or something just to meet Jhn Lennon, he would have traveled to england or anywhere to meet John.
@Ropid Yeah well ok.. I'm not against the USA, I'm just not sure his murderer would have been able to carry a gun that easily in another country. Anyway, I never said he was killed because he was i NYC, i'm sure Chapman would have followed Lennon all around the world. I was just pointing out that Harrison had never thought of how right he was when he said that sentence :)
there's mad people everywhere, George got stabbed in his home. John wouldn't have been killed on that night but there's nothing to stop some other mad person killing him
@dididoum That was LONG after the Assasination of John F. Kennedy. John got killed because Mark wanted to grab the atention of some guy that I can't remember the name of.
gotta be rock n roll music ;if you wanna dance with me
