@ohyeahbustedyeah Last i checked subaru had the faster straight line time. Subaru's are far better road cars. Their interior isn't cheap like the evo's because subaru actually takes pride in their cars. Subaru is ranked far above Mitsubishi in consumer reports FACT.

None of the imprezas were ever pretty, they were all striking and that's about it.

This one was so radically different that people had real difficulty accepting it (still do.

Even the 07 impreza still had influence from the 1989 Liberty which it was originally based on so many years ago.

Difference between people who prefer performance over visual:

A very powerful car swoops past - "What car was that?"; "No idea, it was too fast to see".

A slow, visually modified car driving by - "Is that a BMW?"; "No, that's a Proton Waja".

Seriously, in my country, people do those stuff, turning Proton Wajas into Evos, Perodua Kelisa into Mini Coopers, the new Proton Saga into Subaru Imprezas. Some are so drastic, you can hardly recognize the original car. Of course, this is illegal.

Speed means nothing if you don't look good doing it. The new Sti is not that hot. Earlier gens were definitely better, but even then... The Sti is the annoying friend that tags along without being invited. It's cool, but nobody wants to kick it. They're race proven, no doubt, but my first statement stands.

I think the 06 Impreza looks downright sexy and is the best looking of the lot, it sure seems to put a smile on my face every time I open the door to my carport and see my bright red 06 Impreza looking back at me. And even though I prefer am a totally biased Impreza fan I will admit the Evo X looks absolutely fantastic going down the road, with its gaping mouth open ready to devour smart cars and prius's alike.
