If you want to play this game because you can fly, heres my suggestion... play WoW, get a druid, lvl till you get flight form... plus you can get a flying mount at lvl 60.

how does the questing in aion work ? i'm buying the game this week and i'm used to the wow way of questing is it the same ? and do you need addons for it to reveal the location of certain quests or is that build in ?

I never received the campaign mission: Captain's Order. I tried playing the game anew (4 times!) but that pop-up just doesn't appear when I first enter Aldelle village! What am I doing wrong? HELP!

its sold in shops in europe is all i know.. but the site says europe and us the game is retailed at around £35 / id guess around $70 in us... but you should be too get your hands on a copy as its been out over a month.

the lich king was never alliance the lich king is a combo of arthas and ner zhul who is trapped in the armour that arthas now wears. thats why whenever you her the lich king talk theres two voices. by the time arthas actually become the lich king he wasnt part of the alliance

No, the Elyos are the good guys. The Asmodians are the bad guys.

that's a neg, if you know anything about the lore, unless your judging a book by its covers. Elyos are the proud cocky race because of their beauty whereas Asmo's are the strong loyal race. There are no "good/bad guys" but if you want to get say that, then Asmo's are the good guys and Elyo's are the bad guys.

nice guide, however it looks like your on a private server, dude try gathering 10 angelica or whatever those plants are with 500guys running around.

Actually this was recorded several months ago on the Korean servers, there are no Aion private servers.

And you can collect Angelica easily on NA live or beta servers by simply changing to a lower populated channel. :]

Yes betas for now, but when it does go live you can just change channels.

There are 10 channels in most zones, they are instances of the same zone and server.

But usually the first 3 are where the most of the population are.(because that's where you defaultly start)

So if you're having trouble getting said gathering item you can just switch to a less populated channel.

Its not really a command, but it's on your menu bar in the bottom right, to the left of your map.

It's towards the bottom options, can't remember what it is under.

But I know its called "change channel" or something similar.

Although it's no WoW killer, Aion is the first decent new MMO to come out in quite some time. It deserves alot more community support than it's getting.

Found out something disturbing about Aion. Friend of mine couldn't play the beta weekend because of an error with their "Guardian" program. Sorta like punkbuster, this program looks for other programs running on your machine that could be possible hacks. Well, it turns out, most of the programming is done clientside, not SERVERSIDE, which means, inevitably, this game will be hacked to hell. Stupid.

It means have to play this game quick, because it will eventually be destroyed.
