Informative, but the errors in pronunciation are annoying. For the record, 'zhou' sounds like 'joe'. Check out my documentary "China: Land of Three Religions" for more info on Chinese history.
I think the "I" in "I Ching" should be pronounced with a short sound instead of a long sound. (At least that's how Chinese people pronounce it).
I think I understand why you left out Xia, Qin, Jin, Sui, and Yuan. These dynasties may be too early, too short, or ruled by foreigners. But can you please explain why you left out Qing Dynasty?
Is there any other reason other than the fact that the imperial family is from Manchu?
To be honest, I teach US, so I was following the NY State Regents Recommendations.... not the most academic answer but the truth! But it was def. not b/c of Manchu.
where is the Qing(清) dynasty????
