The sustained drones Tony gets on the open strings while simultaneously crafting those intricate interweaving melody lines is quite impressive as well. I've always found that to be a hard technique on the guitar, and here Tony sounds like his open strings are sustaining forever without any help from his thumb.
Truly amazing! I think the last two tunes are The Devil in the Kitchen, which I believe is a Strathspey, and Andy Renwick's Ferret by the late great Gordon Duncan.
Its insane, i tear up and get tingles throughout my body, does anyone else get that when they listen to pretty music? I might be crazy for this shit. but it changes the way i feel.
The first tune after the "Lament of the Viscount of Dundee" is Dr.Macphails Reel, but it's a long set with other tunes, sorry but I do not remember all the names, but all are in Tony cds
Thank you for this! Tony is a true master! I got so fond of his music, a couple of years ago, that I ended up buying a guitar from luthier Christopher Melville who has built two guitars for Tony. A big investment, great instrument and worth every penny!
Speechless!!

Tony did a really great concert here in Italy, he played this set at the end.
I tried the Tony's Melville guitar and it's a really great guitar, you did the right thing!
