Perhaps my mouse is bad. When I attempt to pair, the tablet starts scanning but never finds anything and just times out. I never get an entry in the device list.
@llking66 Maybe your mouse needs drivers that are not supported by Android? If you can, try to pair another BT mouse and see if the problem still exists.

I cannot pair a bluetooth mouse with my Acer A500 running Android 3.1. I contacted Acer and their response was that the version of 3.1 they issued did not support bluetooth mice. Keyboards-yes, headsets-yes, mice-no. What mouse did you use to achieve pairing? Are you running a custom rom?
@llking66 Hmmmm. I am not sure why you haven't been able to pair your BT mouse. I tried several and they all worked. Root or not should not matter. I am running a stock ROM but have root. 0000 is the paring code. Once paired, tap on the mouse in the devices list and it should make the final connection. Good luck.
@Kathleenhenri I just got a second BT mouse, Targus BT Laptop Mouse, which seems to be pairing but I fail to see a cursor. When Acer scans for devices it finds the mouse and I enter the 0000 pairing code and then click ok. That's it. The mouse does not show under Devices only Acer 500 shows.
clear concise instructions at the right pace, good camera work and sound, one of the better series of Acer Iconia information videos - thanks to Kathleen for generating them.
