By the way, we used to go to shebeens (and no, thats not the name of a club!!!) and in the late ´80´s THEY were the places to go for a great night out and fantastic music......there were several in Manchester and London.....NOT the sort of places that kids would try and impress their girlfriends nowadays. @mmontes15.....ok mate, I take back that it is bollocks, but it just ISN´T as good as the original (in my opinion). ´92-´94 was a transitional period for this type of music. ´87-´91 was when a lot of original stuff was happening.....you either loved the music or you didn´t. ´92 started a ¨trend phase¨ when allsorts of remixes of the originals were coming out and a lot of people jumped on the bandwagon just because it was trendy and ´the´ place to be seen....it started to go really commercial....

Always reminds me of Orlando back in the day. I'd say "so may memories" but honestly alot of them are pretty fuzzy. Its funny how what you do remember from those times is the music. I remember specific sets and the songs that the DJ would play back to back for certain blocks, or certain settings and the songs that will always define those settings for me.

This makes me feel so happy and sad at the same time. One of the greatest moments of my life was hearing this drop at Raindance in '92 with all my mates around me rushing off our nuts on some concoction or other. The lasers sparkling amongst our fingers as the euphoria of those strings washed over us. Never again. :) :(
