omgg can we please have a freakin horse video around here WITHOUT having everyone judgin and criticing people?! dang! yall act like they dont know what they are doing! obviously the grey is high sprung! so what!? the rider did a great judge keepin him in check and if he was too inexperienced, im pretty sure she would have noticed by now!!
@AutiJF Everyone who is Judging Her thinks they know everything about horses :) They are Just being Smart A**'s I hate it to when you go on a horse video they freak out and say your riding sucks and all that.. -.- thos Mean people ugh!
@EventingWithMe - The grey is lovely, but IMO, not enough training for tht level. I martingale would be helpful to keep his head in check. He's all over the place.
You should come out to a thunderbird show. HUGE competition, loads of fun nice people, amazing riders, huge grande prix's, and adorable and amazing horses!
i like her position. :) on the grey i mean. and i want her helmet! lol i like her position cause your horse is supposed to come up to you. therefore, i dont think you should lean foward a ton. but if your horse likes to stretch his neck over the jump, let him, but stretch your arms (not buckle the elbow) but go with the horse while you have a straight back. no hunching. lol the lady in the beggingin was humping her horse. have your legs encourage your horse and sit back. the dont like humping.
Just a few hours ago, I was on a horse that gets ninja crazy at canter over fences too, I have NO control whatsoever.. We are working on teaching me to better use retarding seat, and possibly a better bit. (oh hi, why was that in the tack room while I'm levitating this horse many of us can't stop?!?!?) Ok, sorry, rant off now.
@EventingWithMe i think youre absolutely right :) i havent been jumping for long but im learning on a high strung hanoverian x tb. she can be extremely hard to ride(im not a great rider either :L) but if i let her have the reins shed overjump by a mile and go diagononaly to the next one or jump the fence :L
@EventingWithMe Thats right!! i have a high strung paint. But when im at my trainers ranch i ride a 17.2 hand high strung thoroughbred and he is 5 times as hyper as the little grey(:
@EventingWithMe : Even if he is really forward going, she still needs to count a few strides before the fence and loosen the feel. Otherwise he's just going to pull her out of the seat. My horse is really strong too and what I do is count strides in my head and when we get three strides away from the jump I loosen up on the reins and we get a good spot every time...

I dare say to stop critisizing them and let's see you all (people who critisize) get out there and do what they do. I bet none of you have the guts to post vids of ya riding a high strung horse? Not every horse is a sweet, gentle, green horse. Sorry. They Know how to ride, so please worry bout yourselves and dont tell them what they should and shouldnt be doing.... and please DONT TELL ANYONE HOW TO RIDE! Thanks. :)
The grey is cute. his rider should be holding him back. The horse is obvioulsy high strung. She knows that horse better than all of us and she knows how to ride him effectively.
@Crazydancer4197 a bitless bridles called a hackamore, it putts pressure on the poll and nose instead of the mouth, encouraging the horse to bring his head down. Used in experienced hands its a very effective piece of tack, being useful for horses with sensative mouths. I used to compete my mare in it and she went 100% better in a hackamore than a normal bridle wirth a bit :) x
i feel like the first horse was a little slow for jumpers, and the rider had a considerably rounded back. otherwise, what i saw was quite pleasing to the eye. :)
the grey is soooo beautiful!! He seems to be chompping at the bit a lot.. you might try a bit less bridle, it might help him concentrate more on the course and the jumps less on the bit. :)

its dangerous if ur not on the right lead. one time after a jump i forgot to switch my horses lead and he tripped badly and i almost flew over his head. so yes! its very important to be on the right lead. and it can throw your horse off balance if theyre not on the right lead. it can mess up theyre legs.
yes you have to be on the right lead because if your not you can off balence your horse and make it dangerous for both of you... when you are jumping lower jumps it not so important but when you start getting hightr thats when it matters.. :-)
i think it is cos your horse can be off balance if he isn't .. most horses land on the correct lead leg anyways so it shouldn't cause much of a problem
@showjumperluvr4 I understand- as an endurance racer/rider- horses can get very amped up at the start especially- the more mature ones are calmer- so he'll come into it hopefully- best of care!
i ride too i jump cantor walk trot and gallop but sadly don't have videos yet but i just made an acount to comment and stuff though but soon i shoukd have some videos
to be honest, the first girl put too much pressure in her stirrups.. we learn to ride with our stirrups as if we werent too have any..nice that shes riding with her seat and not so much with her hands..nice co-operation with her horse
Heel dom opmerkingen over de slechte paardrijden van de vrouw naar mijn mening [dutch] anyway im a proffesional horse woman and i think that maybe the horse needs strong riding like that so i think that if you don't know anything about horses don't comment on things like that.
1st girl... needs to let the fuck go of his mouth and face... then sit down and drive that horse with her ass.... both horse and rider would reap benefits and horse would be much more comfortable and really give more. beautiful horse in the under saddle i am sure though!
at 1:14 that horse is really badly dishing, it should really have boots on coz its also very close behind. but any way well ridden, didnt look he was particularly co operating!!
i love the grey horse i have one like it i love appy thts her knick name but her real name is hugotonightmoon she a thoughbred.
