  • all the m3 engines are really handmade assembled?? that's fantastic *_*

  • can i put that engine in my bmw 316i

  • @jamesmiata12 Yeah, but you'll beed to do a lot of work for it to go in and then the ecu and so on to make the thing run..

  • i love my car and my motor :) BMW for life

  • one of these guys made my E92 M3 engine :D

  • fuck.......................................

  • ui alles geil neu will ich haben ;D

  • I want that TQ Wrench!!!!

  • @therealdeal989 lol!

    its nice! lol

  • i like the guy sitting at the computer staring at a huge motorsports logo...

  • das machinen!!!

  • i love to see how bbys are born :)

  • only Honda come close!

  • @apmirkin Honda isn't even on the same level. Honda's are mass produced entry level cars. The ITBs on this motor alone are a work of art.

  • @pinespeakz Honda are n/a engines. Mass produced or not.. The type r cars and even just the vti's and sir dditions are great.. Never have Honda had any problems with engines.

In fact, Mclaren wanted Honda, not BMW to build the engine for the Mclaren F1 in the 90's.

At that time too, Mclaren were using honda engines in their F1 circuit cars..

Honda beat bmw at thir own game a few years ago, with the s2000

  • @apmirkin Point is BMW made the engine for McLaren F1 and the F1 held the production top speed record for 7 years. BMW was never beat by s2000. S2000 and Z4M are in two different leagues. "Never have Honda had any problems with engines."

You're either ignorant or stupid. F20C is such a peaky engine the 15 year old 4G63 motor is far superior in my eyes.

  • @pinespeakz BMW were a second choice, it was two shoddy e36 m3 engines put together!

    I have had 3 e36 evo's!

Here in the UK, we got the best ones, not them funny watered down ///M3's you have in the US. Our e36 evo's put out 321bhp and the cars were continuous problems.. vanos and so on...... The also get knackered after 80,000 miles! lmao! and yet that was half a mclaren f1! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    GO GO BMW!! LMAO!

  • Respond to this video... f20c.. peaky.. thats cos you dunno how to work the engone and hold onto the revs.... inf1 the engines are 'peaky'... LMAO! Mitsubishi... lmao!.. lmao! you been watching too many vin diesel movies! lmao!

  • @apmirkin F20C is a street car motor how often are you above 7k rpm?!?! I can promise 98% of normal street driving is under 7K. F1 engines have 7 speed transmission behind them and there at WOT 90% of the time. To compare a purpose build race motor to a production based street car motor is completely retarded.

  • @pinespeakz Also, why would you buy poxy m-series car for normal driving???? Go and buy a diesel!

Also, in the UK an s2000 is more exclusive than a z4.. Many women I date have been in Audi, BMW, Porsche, Lotus, Maserati, bently... Then they see the s2000, they pull a face at the 'H' logo and then they get in.... Once I drive them in that, it's a different story.... ;)

Also, the s2000 is no longer made, unlike the rx8.

Also a e46 325ti sport is more exclusive than a z4 in the UK.. Crusty Z4!

  • @apmirkin Problem is BMW did not offer a diesel option for us spec cars until this year or last year. When I owned the Z4M I only used it on weekends and shit for daily tasks I normally drove my Mazda 3.

  • Honda S2000: rwd, 50/50 balance and a free revving naturally aspirated engine.... Better than any z4!

Of course honda are on the map.. I just checked.. They are in japan!!

Only BMW are still catching up and only just built a decent Motorcycle.

  • @apmirkin BMW are now just building a decent motorcycle? Are you kidding me BMW S1000RR is the best SBK in the world, guess what that was the first SBK BMW ever made. While only costing one thousand more dollars over Japanese manufactures the BMW has top self components. BMW totally embarrassed Honda when they came out with S1000RR how much money has Honda spent in there R&D program along with the amount of technology developed from WSBK and MotoGP. S2000 is a fucking joke also.

  • @pinespeakz Ok, so BMW build the first good or decent bike.. etc etc.. How many years have Honda been building great bikes for?? EXACTLY!!! Dollars??? I'm in Europe, the UK! and here we have pounds sterling, Son!

The s2000 is a joke? How?? Look at the rev limit on the car.. the engine gives 100bhp for every litre.. like the m3's! the z4 dont do that... it's a better, more reliable car than a stupid z4 and yet the design foes back to the 90's.. HONDA ARE THE NUTS!

  • @apmirkin The fuck you talking about my Z4M was over 100 hp/l S45 is 3.2L and US spec car produces 333 it's simple math figure it out. What the fuck do you mean how long has it taken BMW to make a good SBK. BMW Motorrad never intended to previously make SBK. With all Honda and HRCs resources it's a total joke they never were able to develop a bike that is as great as the S1000RR. I'm not a total BMW fanboy either I've owned a 05 CRB 600RR and a 07 Repsol CRB 1000RR.

  • @pinespeakz Drive the z4m and the s2000 side by side.. corner to corner... lol @ the z4 m.. it's a coupe! not a convertible!!! lmao.

BMW.. The thing about BMW though, is that the 3.0i z4 is better fuel economy at low speeds than the s2000.

I use the rev band in my country... 70mph is the limit and I never get done for driving at 80mph...

The s2000 has short rods etc like an f1 car to achieve them revs you numpty! .. it's not actually an f1 car.. but the dash is f1 like.... etc..

  • @apmirkin Z4M is offered in both coupe and hardtop.

"it's not actually an f1 car.." No shit really? I didn't realize that until you just pointed it out.

S2000 and F1 cannot be compared because F1 is on a completely different level. S2000 only revs to 9k while F1 revs to 20k well 18k or 19k with current FIA rules but engine development hasn't changed since 2005 I believe.

  • @pinespeakz s2000 was made in 1999 first.. and Honda used the know how of f1 to make sure them engine had the same DNA!.. I'm not trying to say they took the engine out of an f1 car and dropped it in a s2000.. f1 engines are not practical.. they are virtually seized engine if you don't pump hot oil and hot water through them. they also need major re-builds every few weeks...

  • Also, another thing, after ww2, BMW were building gardening tools.. etc. then bikes once they had finance again... BMW have had just as long as Honda to build a good bike... The BMW ss is the best bike out, but look at how long it has taken them. BMW have never built a decent n/a under the 3.2cc displacement.. Honda build 1.6 - 2.0i engones and they are the best in that class and so good they make a 2.8i bmw engine look shoddy!

  • Respond to this video...

in the 90's Mclaren GP team used HONDA for the supply of there formula one cars and when they built the road going f1 car, it was Honda they approached first! Honda declined such an offer. SO they went to BMW as a SECOND option!

BMW are good, but they have fucked up with there bangle designed cars and the inside of bmw's are rubbish!.. honda cost less too, so you cant expect the same interior design from them. audi are the best inside these days!

  • @pinespeakz

The e92 engine is the best v8 though... it weighs less than the e46 m3 lump..

If I had my way, I would so drop this into an e46 compact!! The car would be a monster and the handling characteristics would be virtually unchanged.

  • very attractive..

  • what a great job that would be.... they don't hand assemble every e92 engine do they?

  • how much would it be to rebuild a engine or buy one from a bmw 2000-2001 740i sport -thinking of getting a 2000-01 740i sport -and also when you rebuild it you can put a zero on the odometer ?

  • beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • AHHH This video is awesome! Especially when he is using the torque wrench.

  • That's amazing. They keep documented readings from each engine they build.

  • BMW produce the best engines in the world! Just look at their history. Start with the McLaren F1

    Awesome engineers

  • This was an old video I watched couple years ago. To me, it's amazing to watch German engineers design and build their engines. They don't speak English at all yet their as knowledgeable if not more than American Engineers.

  • @heartlessvietboy

    they dont speak english b'coz they're german...EASY

  • I guess you'de figure that foreigners aren't that intelligible about building and science matters. To me, Europe seems to be the root of Techne (technology).

  • @logelamutp they prob do speak english, but you wouldn't wanna speak English when your in Germany! lol

  • @veyronzondaf McLaren isnt the best example when you consider that they went to Honda and Honda creased their face at the project!..

You say that bout BMW, however McLaren are in bed with Mercedes and Mclaren now produced their own engine for its current episode.

  • people say tunned 335 will be faster than the E9x M3. and it's true. But you just cannot get these kinds of cares on any non-M cars! and Im willing to pay for the M-power!

  • To me they look like people that love their job :) and that is where the perfection comes from.

  • AMAZING PRODUCTION, I WAS THINKING THE MAN IN THE DESK WAS THE BOSS BUT NOY HE WAS WORKING TOO, coordinated works

  • m power 4ever !

  • I could watch Germans make shit all day. They are such perfectionists; makes my lazy ass feel guilty. ///M

  • rien a dire des pro bmw ///M

  • i would love to do it

  • Amazing, I can't wait to trade in my 07 335i for this in 08.
