  • @calleyne90 because they would have to pay to buy it from Nassau County the routes if I am aware...but the MTA cannot do that because Nassau Coounty won't let them do it..there could be lawsuits. Plus the MTA is only a contractor anyways..for NS.

  • The problem is that all these people you are showing DON'T vote. They need too! Peace

  • @calleyne90 Well upstate NY is wealthier than Nassau and SI, that may have something to do with it..

  • @PinePowerLI now now..Orange and Rockland are the step children of the MTA and NOT Nassau (the Port Jervis Line and Pascack Valley Line)

This bus mess has NOTHING to do with the MTA. This is all Nassau County in the making. The MTA has been basically supporting the bus system for years..why should they continue doing this?

  • @marbledillon I know its Nassau county, they dont want to pay for the buses. Even the private company Veolia thats supposed to be coming in is having second thoughts. Mangano is completely incompetent and needs to go ASAP

  • @PinePowerLI now that I agree with. Mangano is the one to blame in this mess. He has the power to change it too.

  • @calleyne90 They dont want to. We're pretty much being treated like an abandoned stepchild...

  • Is the peak point of the N22 really RF? When I rode that route the heaviest load point was Lakeville Rd.

  • @LIRR175 It does get more crowded further west, so if its busy leaving the mall you know they are going to be flagging!

  • BALTIMORE -- Officials in Anne Arundel County are investigating two suspicious persons reports that involved children.

Police said a 13-year-old girl reported a suspicious Hispanic man hiding in the bushes near her bus stop along Hillsmere Drive and Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The girl told police the man looked like he was watching the students, but he never approached or spoke to any of them. The girl said she thought she'd seen the man around before.

  • Isn't this what you wanted?...People utilizing the bus system.

Didn't you think that if more people used the buses they would become crowed? With respect, you can't have it both ways.

Ecology-wise the buses should be packed start to finish, that way there is less waste of fuel, which I thought you were all for a number of months back.

  • @Dynamicuno999 The problem is they are crowded because of buses not showing up!

  • @PinePowerLI

With respect sir, I think you missed my point.

They SHOULD be crowded, that's the point. If there not, that's a waste of fuel.

I'm also confused. At the bottom of your video the time says 5:50 and when you checked the schedule it said the next buses would be at 5:50 and then 6:10...so when it finally showed up, what time was it?

    Thank you.

  • @Dynamicuno999 The 5:50pm N24 never showed, the next one came on schedule at 6:10pm. The problem is the buses are crowded before they pick up alot more people. It also doesn't help that the standing room is very little, esp in the 07s. They should've used the NYCT layout of less seats and more standing room. If you've ever rode on an LIB orion 7 look at the seating, the aisles are so narrow there's not alot of places to stand. And LIB buses dont have straps like NYC.

  • This is a perfect example of how conservatives and rich elites force the poor people out of an area. They degrade public transit to the point to where the poor people can't get around, so the poor people will move elsewhere. Mangano wants all of the Democrat-leaners out of Nassau County, so the bus system had to go. To forcibly transfer a civilian population would be a UN human rights violation, but this method the rich elites see as a "fair" way to depopulate an area of "undesirables."

  • @jimbobtheboss Well Andrew Cuomo is a democrat and he isnt helping us either. They are all out for the rich..thats why they want the illegals here because they work for almost nothing...

  • The 7B had two buses break down on it a few weeks ago, and all buses involved were your favorite Orion V's.

  • @mac5689 :-(

  • how much is bus fare for the week usually?

  • @infringinator Well I usually pay an amount for unlimited service by the month, around $55 or so (I get half fare because of my disability). If I have to take the LIRR all the time it's probably gonna be closer to $120 or more per month...

  • @PinePowerLI dayyyyyyum I have a truck and i pay about 100 in insurance and then whatever in gas...publix trans got really expensive :(

  • @infringinator You should see how much an LIRR monthly pass to NYC is, how does $300 a month sound? The LIRR is a ripoff. And now I may not have an alternative. I'm looking into moving near the city line so I can get some NYC bus service. They'll never mess with that...
