You know I recognize the voices of these dubbers from Godzilla movies. Their really good dubbers usually. This must have been early in their dubbing career.
the video where he admits he has stunt man was fake in my friend`s opinion i believe him and i dont want anyone to comment on this because these are opinions and if you dont like it suck it up
guess you guys now shit jackie does have a stuntman he said he does his own stunt but not all of them some of them are performed by his friends sammo and yuen biao look it up in youtube and yes this scene is sick i like the police story 1 and 2 now he is in america and getiing old he makes all his fight scene with a joke in it not look this any more straight street fight no kungfu just pure surviving and willing to do anything lol thats how i look at in this scene
Id have to disagree my friend cuz Bruce Lee was the first worldwide martial arts superstar...and his fighting scenes were unbelievable too...its just a different style...love both of them and JCVD,Steven Seagal,Jet Li and Tony Jaa...all of these guys are good...But I still would give an edge to Bruce Lee though...
bruce used circular fighting, which is a bad choreography. someone attacks, kick to the face ! attack, kick... attack, kick.... Boring dude. Bruce was a hell of a good guy, a master. Howewer he wasn't good at making movies.
To each his own dude...to each his own...anyway I still think his choreography is the most electrifying and exciting cuz nobody blew me away like Bruce the first time I saw a fighting sequence...I mean whenever I see a fighting sequence for the first time I might think "hey this is cool" but only Bruce has made me say "WOW"...
Besides Bruce would use locks sometimes, like he did when he fought Sammo Hung in Enter the Dragon...or how about the cavern fight, again in Enter the Dragon when he broke Jackie Chan's back and neck?
I think the old movies like of the 70s and 80s have the best fight sequences...long live Bruce Lee,Jackie Chan and Jean Claude Van Damme! I also happen to like Jet Li (especially in lethal weapon 4 and romeo must die),Steven Seagal and Tony Jaa who I think has many similarities with Jackie cuz hes also an agile former stuntman who also does all of his stunts...
R u a member of his stunt team for real? Wow! Tell hows Jackie in real life and whats his approach to his work?Is he a nice guy?He seems to be very nice...and funny as hell...
Yuen Biao, Mars and Chin Lok have doubled for Jackie plenty of times. In Legend of the Drunken Master sometimes is Biao. In Dragons Forever it's Mars or Chin Lok (?).
Yuen Biao I think he doubled for Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon in sommersault after he beat the hell outta Sammo Hung...and I know that Jackie Chan also doubled for Bruce Lee in Chinese connection in the part where he kicks the japanese sensei with a flying kick to the neck and he jumps out of that house and starts screaming...or did he double for the japanese sensei who went flying for like 20 meters behind a la Bob Wall in Enter the Dragon?
The HKL dvd of PS2 is terrible, i advice getting the IVL fortune star dvd. HKL print is cropped and zoomed in on so image is missing and its extra extra dark as you can see. I dont know how they managed to make the movie quality look as crap as they did.

Question: What should you do if you can't find any ninja weapons around, and there are bad guys chasing you?
Jackie Chan's Answer: Hit them with the nearest pole, slide, monkey bars, or any other objects that can hurt them, but you can't pick up.

Grew up with the dubs. And in the first Police Story, someone fucked up the subtitles in two places.

Most boring job in the world. He doesn't use stuntmen.
lordthawkeye 3 years ago
There's no such thing as stuntmen with Jackie Chan. He does everything himself.

I mean as a member of his stunt team, the guys he beats up in the videos and takes the tumbles.

@ilksr He has lots of stuntmen, just not for himself. I meant the guys he beats up because they take real bumps and bruises for his movies.

@samuricex Are you kidding? I'd love it! Unless you mean in terms of pain. Then yeah, I agree.
sonouge 1 year ago
@samuricex actually its probably one of the best,
#1, Your are being paid to get hurt. Easy money.
#2, Jackie Chan actually knows who you are and may be your friend.
#3, You can say that you have hit Jackie Chan.
#4, You would have gotten tons of stuntmen jobs considering how many Jackie Chan movies.
#5, You are physically strong.

@samuricex idk if im right but im pree sure jackie does his own stunts.. he was indeed a former stuntman

@samuricex Jackie Chan doesn't use stuntmen, he has broken nearly every bone in his body because of this.

@samuricex So the worst job in the world is being Jackie Chan?
sswires 9 months ago
@sswires 1. If you're his stuntman then you wouldn't BE Jackie Chan...
2. I'm talking about being on his stunt team who get beat up by him in his movies.
