  • I used to do this until I came across the 'pulling it to square it method' so I started thinking this was the incorrect method. I had so many problems with the pulling as it would end up out on the selvedge or the cross grain. I'm going to start using this method again. I feel like a ton of bricks have shifted from my shoulders. Phew! Stick to the tried and tested girls!

  • This is fantastic, so helpful. Thanks from England!

  • That´s precious. I´ve been told to press the fabric very hard and I couldn´t understand why. For me it would be difficult to undo the line made by the iron in the fabric if I needed to.

Thank you so much! You´re a fabric life saver!

    That´s great.

  • This is the best explanation of how to true up a fabric that doesn't have any straight edges. Just what I've been looking for- Thank you

  • All I do is press the palms of my hands on the fabric fold. I don't iron this fold, just press with your hands.

It will hold the fabric in place without actually creasing the fabric too much. Let me know if you have any other questions!

  • once you laided the fabric on the table I needed to see what you were doing.
