I would like to know how they select their members in the comics, they rejected Earth Man, who has the ability to absorb the residual energy from other super heroes and emulate their powers for 12 hours saying his powers were too limited and let Bouncing Boy in, a guy whose ability is to bounce, yeah, that`s a practical superpower...

Well the thing is, that it feels long because it shows a lot of episode footage and stuff. When you see the Justice League intro or "The Batman" intro for example (they also run for 1 minute) and compare it to this, you can tell the difference

I LOVE this theme. LOVELOVELOVE. I'll admit, I wasn't fond of this show at first, since I was bitter it wasn't part of Bruce Timm's DCAU, like I thought it should be (they actually were planning a "Supergirl and the Legion of Superheroes" in the Timmiverse, which was set up in an episode of JLU). The show really grew on me, though. Pity it got canceled, and due to no fault of its own (yay studio politics).

I honestly don't think it's very fair to compare any superhero cartoon to JLU, considering it was one of the greatest superhero shows of my generation. However, if you do compare it I'd say it's a bit like a JLU for a younger audience.

That is NOT to say that it was exceptionally kiddish, considering it was pulled off the air for being too dark in the second season. I myself enjoyed LoSH very much. If you don't like the kid-stuff, I'd say skip season one and watch season two instead.
