The point is, you live off a fast food diet, you will get fat and die before you are 55 years old. Obese people cost so much to keep alive and keep insurance premiums massively high. Children are brought up on atrocious diets and contract type 2 diabetes before the age of 20 ffs! That should NOT be happening. A good diet also directly correlates to high levels of intellect. I think he would be welcomed in my home town. Extreme poverty has created such a nutritional problem here in New Mexico, and I think parents would love for their kids to get at least one healthy meal a day. Sometimes school lunch is the only time kids around here eat, unfortunately.

The real problem the DJ had was not with the message but the messenger, he simply couldn't deal with some limey telling him the truth, also it was pretty clear that the only thing he was interested in was taking J.O down a peg, he probably saw Gordon Ramsey on TV and thought all UK chefs were like him and thought this was his chance to stomp a UK chef, the really sad thing is in just scoring points and not listening to the subject he's helping to kill his own listeners

Don't really read into this. I live in Huntington and the way Jamie Oliver presented himself during the filming of this show was snobbish and condescending. Clips like this are intended to portray the entire city as ignorant and stubborn people who worship unhealthy food, when in reality Huntington is just the most unhealthy city because the hospitals in the city service allot of welfare leeches that live in the surrounding area. For him to proclaim a "food revolution" is just hubris.
