  • The Levites

1 This is the account of the family of Aaron and Moses at the time the LORD talked with Moses on Mount Sinai. 2 The names of the sons of Aaron were Nadab the firstborn and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. 3 Those were the names of Aaron's sons, the anointed priests, who were ordained to serve as priests. 4 Nadab and Abihu, however, fell dead before the LORD when they made an offering with unauthorized fire before him in the Desert of Sinai. They had no sons; (Numbers bible)

  • @gotami2500 yes there is....other wise how culd it have last for the past 2000 years

  • @foxdragon84 By that logic, Buddhism, which is 2,500 years old must be even more true! And Hinduism, the oldest religion of them all, is truest of all.

  • @gotami2500 you missed the point i was talking about what you said " you righteousness is based on pure fiction, there is no corresponding reality to any of your created beliefs." there has to be atleast something corresponding to reality in oreder for the beilf to have survived as long as it has. im just saying relgions a true by whos been around a long time im saying that because its has completed the test of time time you cant just sweep it under the rug like you did

  • @gotami2500 i am sorry that you had a negitive encounter with orthodoxy me once being a very devout can say that i do not think of my self as self-righteous

  • Defte la apantes symphonos Hriston an ymnisomen ton en to batismati pantas emas ekatharanta

Come people, let's all sing in one voice, remembering Christ, as we all have been baptized; all of us, who have been cleansed.

  • Beautiful music. The Catholic Church is slowly going back to its more traditional music ( gregorian chant ). But in the meantime, I love the music like this from the Orthodox side.

  • nobody judmant we are on youtube we juct say !!!! ortodox is not joke , ortodox was never change anything like cattolic or protestants , we juct say u ,i wont to help u !

  • I don´t believe in God. but i love this form of Christianism

  • @Wizardoomsur What you are saying is.......I do not believe in music!!.....but i love bach!!!......oke??

  • God is nature - nature is God - Religion is 'man-made' - but then so is man!

  • @Catawba2 Religion ...is a way for man...as a part of nature..to vind the love of God.

  • but u are gay !!!!! for ortodox that is big sin !!!

  • who are you to judge. Doesn't everyone sin? you should really think about what you say.

  • please pray for me. i am considering converting to Orthodoxy from the Catholic Church. I see God's Being in the Orthodox Church, and this Catholic Church is letting itself become protestant... something i will not be apart of

  • i will pray for you to stop homosexuality because it is the hand of devil in your life then to convert because this will be the hand of god leave the darkness and march toward the light

  • i already knew some of you judgementalists would start bombarding me. I already march toward "the light" and you should be ashamed to have the guts to asume i don't already. Be a real Christian and not a fake judge

  • man when the jews brought the woman who was arrested in the act of adultery

jesus never judged her as a person but he hated the act of adultry and told her that if she did it again she will face what is worse than stoning the same with you i don't judge you as a person i am just saying that homosexuality and orthodoxism are two different ways

orthodoxism is in heaven and homosexuality is in earth the question is do you belong to earth or to a better place the kingdom of your heavinly father

  • @GayKittyCat

Why have you mentioned your sexuality ? It doesnt have anything to do with religious

belief. You are welcome (as far as I am concerned !) in our Orthodox Church .

  • @GayKittyCat

We all follow our own way . Let God be the judge.

Wish you all good in your life :)

  • Good luck. Being Orthodox is not easy.

  • God bless you my brother.

  • God bless everyone, for he gave salvation to ALL!

  • I'm not angry at all, @nikiviki09. Jucapanna is angry. I was replying to him. He thinks Americans hate him.

Divna's music is lovely and it's a shame to see it sullied here with so many hateful comments.

  • YOU don't get it. The American PEOPLE have no idea about this. The politicians, that's different. But if you want to hate American citizens, you're hating people who don't have the faintest idea what you're talking about. They don't hate you back because they don't know about you and they don't know what happened.

You can call them stupid and uneducated about the world; that's fair. But if you want to hate, hate the people who made it happen. Not the people who happen to live in the same place.

  • I am an American who lived in the Balkins in the 1990s doing medical work privately. I have read a few thousand pages of Balkan, mostly Serbian and Yugoslav history as well as saw things in person. The art forms are beautiful and Divna's voice is beautiful, but if there was a God at all, he would not tolerate so much hate and killing in his name for so many centuries. This, or he is incompetent.

  • killing? hating? that's what "man" creating....

  • God bless all Ortodox christians, greetings from Serbia!

  • @NBg45 Thank you my Orthodox brother, from Holland, a Coptic Orthodox Christian!!

  • +God Bless+

  • Divna Ljubojevic is just a singer. A Beautiful One, thats for sure. Stop recognising her by her Ethnicity... start recognising her for her voice;)))

  • Divna is a true angel in a human body.

  • I am a Roman Catholic. I love Orthodox Music; it faithfully express a deep sense of reverence to God ...

Best regards from Spain to our Orthodox brothers.

  • @explorersl St. Peter said to Christ onthe way to Pontius Pilatus" Christ i lov u and i will never betray u..", Christ said to Peter" by morning u will betray me 3 times". So Peter by morning betaryed Jesus 3 times and Peter repended and cried bitterly. Catholics, Vatican, Pope and St. Peter are the same. Pope rejected Christ 3 times, 3 r the schismata. So as Peter repended so Pope will repend too and WE ALL CHRISTIANS BE ONE AGAIN. WHAT A GLORY WILL BE THEN!!!

  • @UBTUNE BUT YOU FORGOT THAT BEFORE JESUS ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN, HE ASKED ST. PETER IF HE LOVES HIM 3 TIMES ALSO, ANS ST. PETER ANSWERED YES THREE TIMES, AND ENTRUSTED THE CATHOLIC CHURCH TO HIM WHEN JESUS TOLD HIM TO FEED HIS SHEEP. OUR HOLY FATHER, THE POPE, HAS NOTHING TO REPENT, SINCE THE FULLNESS OF TRUTH AND GRACE CAN ONLY BE FOUND IN THE HOLY CATHOLIC CHURCH, THE ORIGINAL CHRISTIAN CHURCH, FROM WHICH THE PROTESTANTS, ORTHODOX AND ANGLICANS SEPARATED. FOR THE RECORD. NOTED.

  • @cistercianus Dear friend greetings. One thing we all Christians need to remember :"we are not muslims to kill each other out". Orthodox and Catholics will be one one day, so i feel like rejoycing from now. You should also. Sorry if u think i indended to offend the Pope. One critical thing u missed. Catholics were orthodox for 800 years, the decided to be Catholics. ??

  • @UBTUNE but how come the our catholic fathers became orthodox for 800 years? catholic christianity did not change any of the teachings handed down by our Lord Jesus Christ and passed by the apostles and bishops of apostolic succession. in the year 800s, however, the Greek church as well as other Eastern branches of Christianity began to separate themselves from the center of Christianity, that is, Rome.

  • @cistercianus hello friend, center of christianity is CHRIST. CHRIST established a church. Rome said 3 no to the christian synods and said i go my way. Same as Peter, said 3 no to Christ the repended to CHRIST by the morning. So this is something that u have to deal with Christ. Can any catholic priest do that ? /watch?v=sFVDNWaR0WY&feature=related

  • @UBTUNE yes there is no doubt that Christ is the center of the Christian Faith. furthermore, St. Peter also said that he loved Jesus 3 times before Christ ascended into heaven (cf. John 21). Finally, we know nothing of any Christian Synod that the Pope rejected (except of course if that synod you are referring to was convoked by any other religion). Anyway, what matters is that I truly love this music though I profess the Catholic creed and sharing belief in Christ.

  • @cistercianus Christ always be with u.Watever Christ said is correct. So He said in John 21 so he said about Peter saying 3 No and then repending.Catholics take what they like only . In WIKIPEDIA one can see that. Catholics agreed about the Holy Trinity at 350ad and then at 850ad they said NO to holy trinity. Is this, is the other, is not that etc.Today i heard from BBC World Service that a catholic bishop saw an aparition that gay marriage of catholic gay priest be legalised! THE LIGHT IS HERE

  • @cistercianus jOHN 21 true as 3 no of Peter. Catholics take what they like only. need to stand firm. Like in 350ad confirm Trinity and then at 850ad de-confirm trinity??isnt that a no !. BBC World service today: Catholic bishop saw an aparition that gay be aproved by catholic church?

  • @explorersl

    Yes my friend in christ!

Orthodox church is very old, eastern church - very spiritual, ascetical, full truth, holy spirit is in orthodox church. :) god bless you

  • i hope God will help my brothers serbs on kosovo, they suffer very much...God bless you all...

  • i had girlfiend Jelena too. :)))

  • What do you mean, vkorchnoifan? Do you mean to say that Divna has lost her faith?

  • I feel so greatfull after listenig such nice, divine music and reading so warm comments which u left. Im proud to be Orthodox... All the best to u my orthodox brothers and sisters...We need to be united... Greetings from Kazakhstan!!!

  • powerfull...

    ordodox pride

  • Absolutely beautiful. There are Greek/Russian Orthodox chuches in my town(beautiful architecture)

I'm undecided as to what languages I should learn( I would like to learn a South Slavic languages that is understood in most Balkan countries)

  • heero, you should learn any of the stokavian-based languages (Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Montenegrin), they are very very close to each other. second group to learn: Macedonian and Bulgarian. At the end: in terms of understanding, Slovenian language is suitable mostly for Slovenia. Good luck with your study!

  • thankyou so much for the advice. What linguistic differences are their between Croatian,Bosnian and Serbian. I know they're all unique... but i hear the Macedonian is the same as Bulgarian, only with minor differences.

  • During XX. century, literary languages based on stokavian South-Slavic group were often considered to be part of ONE language (sometimes called Serbo-Croatian), with 2 or 3 localised versions. But even then some minor differences in grammar and vocabulary were present, and process of differentiating went further after independence movements in various nations. Good news is: we can still understand each others perfectly with NO PROBLEM, even when politcs claims differently. Learn any version. :-)

  • That's wonderful to hear, So... I won't be given an odd look when I try to talk to a Serb in Croatian? lol

  • Some linguists consider Macedonian language to be based on one specific type of Bulgarian, and languages have some similarity (not same, but close). Since Macedonians developed distinct national, cultural and linguistic identity from XIX. century and especially within ex Yugoslavia, it is reccomended to respect their own opinions and definitions.

  • Their opinions are garbage, Stokavian is the base language then regional peculiariites developed, their culture is eastern European and similar to many others from the region. People need to look similarities and not to differences first. Separatism, and religious nationalism is the lowest form illness.

  • I love Serbia too mainly because im a big fan of Nemanja Vidic... on a serious note, you made a right choice. Christian Orthodoxy is a very powerfull religion

Grazie

  • Thats beautiful that you want to become an orthodox because you love us Serbs so much(I am half Serbian and half Greek). It is a very powerful religion. I am so lucky to be Orthodox Christian.Go see someone at an orthodox church and ask them what they think - they shoyuld be honest

  • you should be proud marina the same as i am

  • here in serbia we respect Scotland.its great nation.

  • HEJ. you can became Orthodox Christian. but not Orthodox Serbian Christian.. because you are not Serb.. hehe.

but then ,why do you want to became, it is more important... motive... or do you want to became Christian in general.. that is more important.. in that case Bible is enough..
